I am wondering does anyone know which ships Admiral Isoroku Yamato used as Flagships and what dates/ how long he used each?

I know he used Nagato and I think Musashi and Yamato? But not sure if he used any others or not.

Was doing a study of the IJN and have had a little trouble pinning down the exact dates he used his Flagships for.

The WOWs Community can often be great and informative about such things so thought I would ask. :Smile_Default:

You should be able to get the dates from the TROMs of CombinedFleet.com, Nagato became flagship of the Combined Fleet on 15 December 1938, Yamamoto became Commander-in-Chief of the Combined Fleet on 30 August 1939, boarding her and raising his flag on 1 September 1939. On 12 February 1942 Yamamoto transferred his flag from Nagato to Yamato. Lastly on 11 February 1943 Musashi replaced her sistership as flagship.

As say before and chronological :

-Nagato

-Yamato

-Musashi

Already Musashi carried the ashes of Yamamoto back to Japan after his death.

From 1933 to 1934, RADM Yamamoto flew his flag from Kaga as commander First Carrier Division.
