Yamamato Super Container Success... Help.

Finally got around to completing the second campaign.  I received 25 dragon flags and the DeGrasse.      On paper the DeGrasse looks like a pretty decent ship.  I read up a few things about it, but would like to hear some input from people that have actual game time in her.  My initial take is that she looks like a good range HE spammer with some decent range torps to surprise people.  Probably a little squishy.  Any tips or feedback before I spec her out with modules and capt skills would be appreciated.

Yea, she is great. Plays like most of the other FN CLs. HE is your main weapon but the AP is capable on broadside cruisers, seems more fickle than other nations AP though. Although she does well at range, I like to get a little more up close. Play her aggressively, the speed boost is good for getting out of trouble or rushing smoke. (the hydro/speed boost makes her a good DD hunter)  The torps are also capable torps. 

 

PM, EM, DE, CE would be my first points. AR and IFHE after that. The last 3 points is more debatable I think.

Edit: PS, yes, squishy but not as much as you might expect.

congat on getting a premium ship from the SC .. so jealous of you!
