If you got a blueprint, does it unlock that ship forever?

This is kind of a weird question but it's been in my head since the event when you could get the Fuso, Leander, and then again when you could get a free Bismarck: When I got the Bellerophon(from blueprint mission) it shows on the Caledon research section that it's checkmarked, so if I sell the Bellerophon would I need to research it again(playing the Caledon or free xp) or is it unlocked forever?

It's unlocked forever. You might have to rebuy the upgrade modules if you sell those along with the ship.
