Played it on Brothers map; that fun one with the slot up the middle where yolo's often go to die. Our team started on the south side, and when the match began I headed west, but far west to counter red DD's flanking. And immediately began taking flak for not spotting for the BB's behind me. Spotted the enemy Fubuki, he smokes, BB's tell me right away to go kill him. I reply that I am not a gunboat DD. Meanwhile our Atlanta is right there with the BB's, doing whatever but certainly not turning on his radar to spot the red DD. BB mafia goes crazy, report me, blah-blah/woof-woof! Meanwhile, I sink the Fubuki, and later a cruiser, and get told it was too little too late. I hate it when I am an underachiever ... so I wanted to apologize to my team for underachieving; sorry I didn't yolo out and die right away like every other DD in the match, I really freakin' feel bad about that one; I'm sorry I didn't take your advice and play my ship in a way it was not intended to be played, but instead waited patiently until circumstances favored me and I was able to do what I wanted how I wanted, I know how waiting for someone to obey who isn't must be very frustrating; And I want to apologize for not sharing with you the realization I had many, many games ago that you cannot win by criticizing your team mates, some how in the report Umikami for this and report Umikami for that it just plain slipped my mind. I apologize for being such a crummy player, and dragging the team down to my level; I'll try to do better next time.

Playing Your Game is how it should be, and you did it your way and showed the Bad Admirals how to play. This is the reaction most players who think they are the best try to make you the Bad Admiral. I have always said nobody is great on their own it takes a team for greatness.... however in this game and the scenario you portrayed, your team was full of Bad Admirals. You proved to them all maybe if they paid attention they could be like you. Great job Great Post.

Fubuki is an extremely poor gunboat. You out dpm him 3 to 1. Your torps are faster and less detectable than his. I have all 3 kamikaze variants. And all Japaneese destroyers up to tier 9. This is true; unfortunately it is also true for most IJN DD's. And yes, 38 K is not any kind of good match, especially in a Kami. I really am OK with telling anyone/everyone that when I'm in a Kami (or sisters) I am not a gunboat, but OK, neither is Fubuki. Or their other DD, a MostSuki. Yeah all the Kami sisters are fun; most IJN DD's are, all the way through Shimakaze (but not all, unfortunately); but that's not the point, neither is the meh match. I just find it both ironic and amusing that, even as a meh player having a meh match, I can still get heat when I'm doing really well for the team I'm on. Guess I should just carry harder, huh? I am spuddy enough for the whole team, no need to make it worse. :D
