They seem way to HD compared to the rest of the graphics, its like they tried to mix Battlefield graphics with Modern Warfare graphics. Honestly i feel like they put the detonation explosion on every ship killed ship. The only thing that bother me is when shells land next to the targetted ship and i can't aim at the ship because of the explosion in the water. They also share a transparency issue with all the new smoke-type effects, in that they don't blend nicely into their surroundings -- they're too opaque, and it's also causing gameplay issues.
