I use all of my available Karma every day, but have only received 5 over the last week. This helps out the WoW community. Don't give someone a bad Karma just because he/she outscored you. If they did a good job, or helped you out in some way, give the person a Karma that coincides with what they did. Every time you give a good or bad Karma, as you may know, you get a message thanking you for contributing to the good of the community. Use your heads. Don't use it for revenge against someone that you think didn't support you in the game. If a person did something in the game that deserves bad Karma, then reward them with it. If they did something good, reward them with it. Use your Karma. It helps out in the long run. Thanks, and fair seas!

I never use all my reports or compliments because I don't find myself in situations in-game that makes either one justified to give out for a player. I usually use them when a player did something major, whether it be good or bad. I also don't play enough games each day to justify using all 8 of my reports and compliments. I also rarely give out more than 1 report or compliment for a single player because I either don't have the time or it's a waste of reports/compliments. EDIT: That being said I do use mine occasionally if I see people do really egregious or amazing things. Pretty much never use it all though. It doesn't happen often. How can you tell if people aren't using theirs though?

To me, it means something when I give someone a compliment for making a good move or smoking me up right before I am beyond help. Outside of giving me a good feeling to be able to thank them in some way, it could also encourage the player. Some people believe that what goes around, comes around; others don't. For those of us that do, in-game Karma matters, for others it is irrelevant, and that's OK, too. I look at Karma as a feature for players that want to use it. I personally also usually run out of compliments every play session, and I don't give them out like candy. Simply a choice...
