Not the best time to play Iron Duke or Orion?

It seems lots of people are in a streak of loss. Why?

 

I just managed to research all modules for these two ships. Today playing tier 8-10 I saw very few RN BB.

It's not like the CV population at T4-7 has really changed, so I don't see why you wouldn't play most OP T4/5 in a while.

Well it may be connected to the fact that WG was doing an Oprah impersonation with all the Iron Dukes they have been giving away to everyone.

why are people saying the Duke is so great?  I just finished grinding through it to the Elizabeth, and I thought it was pretty meh.  Not a bad ship, but not every exciting.  At least with the Elizabeth, I can actually hit a citadel.

Dunno, seems like a great time to be playing them.  Just finished my 1st Orion game, bone stock, 4 kills with a win and about 71k damage I think.   Only an 8pt capt too.

side note, had the back to school camo equipped... oh my, dat is u g l y, ugly

First game in Orion got detonated 2 minutes in by a single torp.

 

Not impressed.

I thought you had to play at least 3 stages of each mission to win 1 of each tier, and wasn't that with at least with a T3 or T4 ship?

I wasn't that impressed with Orion.  Seemed very squishy to me.  I got some big damage some games, but I got that with Bellerophon too.

 

Iron Duke seems ok so far.

If you're trying to play them like other BB's, you will feel meh...

with the Iron Duke, I pretty much exclusively used HE on it.  Like it said, it was okay, but didn't feel like it was super good or anything.  The Elizabeth has less fire chance and better penetration, so I've been playing it like a normal battleship and it plays like one.
