Iowa citadel lowering should be reverted

This video show how easy and braindead the new Iowa and Missouri citadel became. That Missouri should be totally destroyed for such a stupid move, yet completely gets away and is not punished for his mistake. Since the lower citadel it is impossible for cruisers at close range to citadel Iowa and Missouri. The lower citadel is just catering to poor players.

Its completely ridiculous to pair this kind of survivability with the insane firepower and accuracy Iowa has. This ship has by far the most powerful gun of T9, and even citadel this Des Moines right through the bow while the Des Moines can't punish a complete broadsiding Missouri even at close range, how is that even balanced? If this was Yamato it would be totally smashed by citadels, or a FDG would get destroyed by normal pens. This lowered Iowa and Missouri citadel make them nigh impossible to punish and promotes such disgusting braindead gameplay. It's really time for WG to come to senses and revert this nonsense buff already.

So totally cool for FDG, Lion being almost impossible to citadel, Izumo being a tough but to crack, but totally Ok to wreck Missouri and Iowa.

Ooookay then.

The lower citadel makes the Iowa and Mo more forgiving which makes for more dynamic gameplay. If you look, that Mo was turning around to disengage from that fight, something he would NOT have been able to do had the citadel been the old one.

The old cit only rewarded extremely passive, and therefor extremely stale and boring gameplay, aka the "bow-on and reversing" tactic that a LOT of people despise, especially me.

Lowering the cit on the Iowa and Mo was the best thing to happen to those ships, and made them more accessible to people.

FDG is balance around the turtleback, her guns have complete crap dispersion and accuracy compare to Iowa and have much worse firing angles. Not just that she takes all sort of regular penetration damage even when angled. Izumo is huge firebox with terrible gun angles and poor accuracy. Theres no comparison. And how does Lion being broken in similar way make this acceptable at all?

Well this is what you get when most player sail broadside in a ship that doesn't forgive broadside.

Considering you have 75% of your main power concentrated at the front of the ship, your back gun isn't that necessary and yet people want to have all their guns to bear and get punished for showing some broadside.

At least torpedo still effective against them

Why don't you give actual reply instead of posting stupid pictures. I addressed all your points, you did not reply with anything else.

Exactly, Iowa is Missouri are very strong before buff and anything who can angle don't have any problems with citadels, now these ships cannot be punished.

I citadel them plenty when they're not angled. May be you're just bad. :Smile_sceptic:

Except they can, and quite easily so.

But whatever.

Because I see absolutely nothing of value in your replies.

Math isn't your strongest suit, I take it.

Let's see.  9 guns total.  6 up front, 3 in the rear.  6 out of 9 is 75% in, what?  New Math?  FYI, 6/9 is 2/3rds or 67%, not 75%!!!  :Smile_facepalm:

Yes but it doesn't change the fact that most of his power is centered on his front and not his back.
