I need a question answered. It's about installing and uninstalling the game and it's VERY important.

I am in the process of copying files from my current laptop to a new one. One such file is this game and its shortcut. I know that since all of the game's information is stored server-side, I will not lose my progress by moving to another computer; I need only to log in with my username and password and I can pick up where I left off.

My question, however, is as follows: If I do not uninstall Warships from my current computer and instead just copy my files onto my new one, will I be able to log into my Warships account or will it not allow me to because it will think I am on another computer? As well, if I do not uninstall Warships from my current computer, will WG think that i am using a second account and ban me?

I need this answered as quickly as possible. Thank you in advance to anyone and everyone who provides me with helpful advice.

*Edit: It seems my question has been answered quite nicely. Thanks you very much.

You can have multiple machines with the same account information stored in them, and you can access that account information from multiple devices so long as you aren't accessing it from multiple simultaneously.

But, if I may ask, why are you copying your files over? Unless you have mods, it's probably easier to just install the client on the new device rather than try to copy your files manually.

It should be fine. You can keep the WoWs on the old PC and it'll still work on the newer one.  Just need to click Yes to the ToS when you log in on a new device.

I'd just reinstall. Copying probably take just as long. I'd copy the preferences file (to keep your personalized game settings), but other than that, you should be fine. I had to reinstall recently, and I forgot to copy anything. I'd copy my screenshots and preferences. Also the training room application (replays enabled is in my preferences folder). Modpacks, just reinstall, have to anyway every patch. Replays, not worth copying, as they're only good for one patch.

Reinstall the game, if you do not and just copy you could miss something and if you do the check it just reinstalls the whole game anyway

You can copy it and it will work just fine but why on earth would you go through the trouble.  It would be way easier to just reinstall.  Doesn't make sense but you should be good to go.

Whatever suites you.

ONLY thing copying does as it will copy your presets of your hardware which may not apply to your target PC. as well as your email/password if applicable.  Just do a NEW Install.
