Last time you got laughed at

What did you do?

 

Last time someone laughed at me, I was in Neptune and cocky with my concealment. Some Amagi or whatever shoots and misses me completely. I taunted with "nah nah nah nah you can't hit me."

 

Well third time someone figured out the distance and got a DS off me. Couple reds noticed the chat and who killed who and typed "lmbo." Think a teammate giggled too.

When my Kutuzov was detonated by the first shell to touch my hull from a conqueror sitting across the map.

I had friendly banter with a red Fletcher who popped smoke twice as my Enterprise torpedo bombers closed in.  Decided to try to catch him in the smoke both times.  Both were misses.  He jokingly said I missed; both times.  I smiled back in chat.

Third time I finally got a torp into him and he congratulated me.

 

Then he turns the island and we dance within 6km.  I dodge his spread and got the last laugh as a friendly cruiser bags the kill after I put another torp into him. I enjoyed that friendly/competitive banter.

I got detonated by a single hit in Gallant in the first 30 seconds by a Königsberg at extreme range in a Random match. Got some well-deserved giggles in chat for that. Replay review showed that the Reds had an IJN DD close to me with a lower detection range than I had with my CE Jack Dunkirk in command. Stealth spotting mechanism at work....stupid is as stupid does. Had not paid close enough attention to the spawn and got caught!

My own clanmate laughed at me after I got stuck in an island trying to dodge 6 ships firing at me, same clanmate was the one to kill me as well

I don't remember being laughed at but I remember laughing at someone yesterday when I detonated a emerald with my Arizona but even then I said sorry and not lol

In Gearing, contesting a cap, against a Fletcher he popped after trading a few rounds, I avoided a torp spread, was getting targeted by other ships, popped smoke sat for a minute thinking the Fletch would have reload time,

what I did not know was the spread I avoided was from a Benson near the Fletch, he had launched when I smoked, was sitting at wrong position and got blown up... Fletcher red spent a bit of time calling me a noob, laughing in chat... then also sent me a note after the battle telling me I was a potato noob and needed to learn how to play before I get into any more random battles...

I never trash talk so it's pretty rare. A carrier did say "LOL RIP" after he sank me yesterday though.

When I was still trying to get up to a 10 point captain in my Gallant, and ran across an Akizuki. He got the jump on me as I was coming around an island, and squeeked past my torp volley. I ended up between him and the island, and he parked next to me, waited a couple of seconds, then put a full volley of torps into my side. I typed "Nice job, I'm going to go uninstall now." We both had a good chuckle about it.

I was playing the roon (a long while ago) and shot off a random blind shot for the heck of it. Well let's just say that the random New Orleans that I hit wasn't too happy with the detonation.  I laughed in chat and said sorry for the random bad luck.  A couple of minutes later... I get one shotted by a North Carolina.

When a carrier throws everything he's got at my USN AA BB, and I kill most of them on the way in, dodge what was dropped, and get the rest on the way out. Trolling the CVs is so much fun.

Some guy laughing on me how I wasted my money to an unfinished product.
Until i showed him how stronk german carrier is and devastated a Tirpitz by using AP bombs

I had a similar one, but I did lol at this one.  Guy in an Emerald was talking crap to our team on chat about he was going to sink us all.  About 30 seconds later he came out from behind an island, and I had all 10 of Texas's guns ready for him at about 7 km..  One Devastating Strike later, he was accusing me of hacking.  I laughed at him.

Another one of my Drunken Shipping nights.  Between liquid courage and my confidence in my Scharnhorst I said heck with it all and charged the two enemy New Mexico's figuring it would be a glorious brawl no matter the outcome.  Kaga had other plans

On the forums - When to the last I said GZ was doomed to fail just from trying to put pre-1940 fighters and a pre-1940 design though I believe a post 1940 model, at tier 8 against late 1942-1944 aircraft. That being generous they were tier 7 but really more tier 6. And from the stats available the day it was out, what should be tier 6 fighters, with tier 7ish stats, and shown as tier 8 fighters, that got wrecked, and again DB's that did not appear to fair much better and may have been underarmed for the tier, certainly not as accurate as they should be.

 

So guess who's (still) laughing now.

 

In game - When a DD got close to one of my tier 8/9 CV, thinking he's got me. He missed every torp inside 5 km, and I got him with DB's and secondary fire.

 

Favourite though is the losing match they left a flank open, German DD pops smoke to fire at me now that he's at A line, Turn at him, try to hit him in smoke, but keep getting closer, and closer, dodging torps till at the last second when I can see him in smoke I'm so close he realizes that because I can not launch aircraft because I'm on fire, and secondaries won't be enough, that I'm actually going to ram him. And all too late tries to reverse only to get crushed and gimme 10 more flags to decrease ramming damage against me. It was glorious.
