Oh wow it actually IS back in game.. (Halloween Sea of Fortune)

When I first saw the posts I thought this was photoshop because I remember this being removed since I used to work on Master Port Collection (the ports that is) so I remember extracting the files that made the map port work and passing them off to GoldPile.

 

This is not just one file, but multiple. Model file, animation, visual and other files I forget the terms for. Someone was changing the map settings file for Sea of Fortune to include this "gate" so either this is a test for something happening in event and this was used as a placeholder with Sea of Fortune being a testbed or a dev was having some fun and forgot to remove this from his custom client..

This was on the test server and is well documented on SirVenom's stream when we stumbled on it.
