Not that it makes a difference in most cases as carriers start at tier 4 - but why does the Erie have an AA rating of 1 when it has 4 Quad 28mm AA mounts?

You can't.  Divisions have a +/- 1 tier restriction.

WG did something right. Get frustrated with the allowed fail divisions 'cuz they always seem to be on my team! Keep hoping it is some unicum team that wants a challenge but it never seems to happen that way.
