Ok I dont post often unless I feel its a great thing or important. So 1st shout out to wargamming, on the british bb's. Awsome job and thank you. I explain more into the talking points.

So a little back story info. Was in a match last night, running my new duke bb. We got slaughtered. First issue was to many new british bb's, im sure itll even out down the road. But the reason was so clear as to the major draw back to this nations bb's. We couldnt see crap and were forced of our only cap on the map. Mainly every one started off chasing the DD's who were followed by the CL/CA's. Due to the fact british bb's cant see past their barrels tip its a issue for all bb's we are not meant to spot. As the whole other team fired on us in complete stealth safety we lost our cap and not one person died in the game. It was bismul at best.

This is why we need CV's played more ...we need the scout capability of the planes. British BB's may not suffer so bad it higher tiers I dont know. But tier 5-7 if you lose your eyes early match(aka dds/cl/ca) youve lost. If we had a cv, who could have followed the fleet from behind I think we may have had a longer match. So if any cv players read this just want to show you your fellow british bb players will love you when you scout for us. Overall I think this line only adds to the importance of team play and the need for a full fleet. And I think if anything nerf all bb's sighting/spotting range and youll see way more cv love.

What do you guys think about this new bb play style. While its a new hurdle it adds way more depth for me at least to the game. I lost the match but it only made me love the game more.

I had 5 British battleships on the 1 line last night complain that I wasn't guarding the cap in middle.  Amusing.  Thankfully, the same quality of player was on the other side and we won the game.  By the time one of the Orion's figured out what needed to be done, I was sitting 3km on the other side of the island waiting for him.  His support died several minutes before.

Not trying to pick on you, but it isn't strictly everyone else's job to spot so you can sit at max range farming damage.  You are losing your DD/CA/CL because they are getting focus and deleted?  Perhaps you need to push up and help them by discouraging the focus fire and taking some hits.  Or they could have just messed up and there was nothing to be done.  I don't know the context so I wont assume anything.  My point is simply to encourage pushing as a team and not being afraid to get shot at.  Just don't get shot at by 8 people while alone in a manner akin to suicide.

Either way, if you have a carrier spotting, that means another carrier is out there looking to drop you.  Careful what you wish for.  If supporting the cruisers by being close enough to be a problem, you will get some fire and you will see where it is coming from.  The positioning and when to be aggressive is the hardest thing to learn in this game.

>Be me, Bogue captain

>Sees thread asking for CVs

>Turns out they only want them to become the team's [edited] for scouting.

Well [edited].  CVs do a lot more than just seeing crap...

Also this encourages camp meta.  GG

Well I understand what you mean about stayin with the fleet but that wasnt possible do to the speed difference we were left in the dust at top speed 0f 18 to 21 knots. Also I dont want you to think we asking for you to just scout, when a cv is is useing strike groups they auto scout so just being in the match and haveing a cv attack would have at least givin us a spot to watch. Lol we felt like god him self was raining smite down from outta the sky. We couldnt have ran fast enuf to try and flee it. Was awsome to see. And yes it sucked. And i think my stock duke has a range of 13-14k so it wasnt like i was sniping i just couldnt see any one to hit and wasnt fast enuf to save our eyes from getting focus on. And I know its a group effort. Just wanted see if other players have felt the spotting limits on the brotish bbs and how they like them, or overcome the issue.

Also as to blind use so easly im kinda wondering if more match wont focus on the eyes of the team more now as its a very viable win solution. Was vey powerful in that match lastnight. If so its gonna make crusiers and dds lifes a lot more painful.

Not just CV's but cruisers too. Last night I was in multiple matches where the battleships were just left to the mercy of concealed destroyers.  One particular match I recall involved a full division of 2 atlantas and a flint, that spent the entire match, hiding in smoke and raining fire down on a single target until it died.  They ignored everything else and the team eventually failed because the biggest guns were picked off easily.

Cruisers really need to be the support ships they're meant to be.

I think buffing crusiers spotting range would be great. Itd give them the nitch they deserve. And a larger reason for team building for rank and coop

Being a CV captain isn't too easy specially in higher tiers an even less when more and more people are using AA setup , also the control you need to have to be a good CV player is not too easy to obtain , if you want more CV's on the game , before asking for more I suggest you to play as one for at leas 50 battles and when you get to t6 you will see a true dare . and you will see that isn't too easy
