Stalin had actually planned building some pretty big battleships see:

http://collectrussia....HTM?ITEM=19931

Some stats of the Stalin's battleships can be found here: (page 95)

http://books.google....leships&f=false

2xIII 406 mm + 2xII 406 mm + 10xII 127 mm guns. (Gibbs C - 1937)

I assume this means 10 406mm guns.

There was design with 457 mm guns (Gibbs A - 1937)

I know they are paper battleships - I would still love to see them in the game, (and French and Italian battleships)

IIRC, the only confirmed Soviet ships at the moment are projects 23 and 24, as tiers 9 and 10 respectively. Likely we will see many of the other "projects" in the game, particularily since the Russian WW1 lineup is rather meh.

As long as they are under 90 Thousand tons and have a main armament of less then 18 inches, we could see them in game.

IIRC a couple of the Gibbs & cox proposals were hybrid battleship/carriers.

I'm not too worried about the russian line,  something tells me the devs are going to be able to have access to information that would otherwise be very difficult to obtain (in english)

Me neither

Though the Yamato had 18" guns and the super yamato (A-150) had 20" guns

THOUSNAD is the universal equivalent of crapton (non metric).

Unless you felt the urge to build the gun out of cardboard and rubber bands  :Smile_trollface:

The only Russian ship i'm interested in is battleship Potempkin. Too bad it's a pre-dread ship. :(

crag-r then we will not have the yamato in the game considering her guns are about 18.1 inches.  :Smile_teethhappy:

The Devs have said they are only willing to make exceptions on that to fill needed postitions on tree's

The Sovietsky Soyuz was basically an overgrown Littorio class with 16 inchers slapped on her instead of 15 inch guns, stretched, enlarged and slowed down.  We might see the planned Stalin class Battlecruiser, 9 x 12 inch guns and a fair lick of speed.
