Big string of losses tonight and last night with a lot of really good games.  big damage and 3-5 kills per and team just keep giving it up in the end.  I have made a big point that wins don't drive me, but this is getting stupid.  "You can lead a horse to water...."   You know that one?  fug this.  I am going to start making him drink.

I could never do that. I tried for a while, but it's just not fun. I have the patience for it, but there's no point.

I think your first sentence says it all Capt - a string of bad games (not your effort/performance but in general) can raise those frustration levels and make for despair.

 

However, I don't think threatening to do the very thing that frustrates you is going to work. Hopefully the quick vent on the forums and a little break before your next games will 'let most of the steam out' and your games will be more acceptable.

Or, you could just play strategically, taking good positions and attacking at good moments. This also means falling back when you need to.

The best part about joining a clan? 

When I am just playing like crap, or MMing, and RNG are trying to gangbang me I can hop into our Discord and calling in some back up.  It really did make the difference for me in being frustrated and dealing with it with guys that became friends.

OP I think I may have been in a battle with you last night.  Although Warships.today says you played in 6 battles and only had 3 kills between them, not "big damage and 3-5 kills per".  So maybe I'm confused!

Every game is different.  Sometimes, it has "rush" written all over it.  Sometimes, you gotta sit back in a attrition fight...and wait for the opportunity to go in for the kill.  Almost like boxing.

 

Fun thing happened the other day on an Epicenter match (which is my least favorite).  We had FOUR Bismarcks.  Enemy had three and an NC.  I come up on chat right at the start...and say let's rush the center.  Oh my...all those affirmatives rolled in....it was a glorious game. Picture a Bismarck shootout in the center of Epicenter only minutes into the game.  Probably the most fun I've had playing epicenter with my clothes on since they introduced it.  The difference?  All friendly BBs pushed.  Only some of the red BBs pushed.  DDs?  Try surviving epicenter with four Bismarcks flinging secondaries left and right, supported by a CAs and DDs.

I have a screen shot toward the end....all our ships camping the center and the remaining reds on the perimeter.  Funny.  Well, funny for the green team.  Not so much for the reds.
