thats because you were using HE bombs, try the AP and you'll be singing a different tune on them i assure you

Co-op though...  Run up against a good CV player with vastly better fighters in random and it'll be much different I'm afraid.

Heck, getting that much damage out of the Graf is an accomplishment, no matter what game mode it's in. My Record is 130K in Co-op with the thing. I don't feel right subjecting my own team to it in Random in the state the ship's in though.

Co-Op doesn't really count for anything, since the bots don't really try.

The GZ has been loss bait. Gee, I wonder why nothing got done by our team this game? Oh wait, you brought the GZ.
It'd be fine if it only had its fighters deleted by every USN and IJN CV ever if it could make up for that by using them for momentary tie ups while it deleted important things, but it doesn't even do that right.

It's a bad ship in its current state.

 

And this part of why CV play is an issue: the entire line has more effect than a Nikolai juggernauting a flank or a Belfast being... Belfast.

If there's noteworthy disparity between CVs, the side with the CV advantage has a huge edge and basically will be able to bully the other side hard. Even FT CV can do the "Eyes of the Fleet" thing, and bully DDs after ruining the OTHER CV. And bullying DDs... tends to win games due to the threats and utility DDs bring to the table..
Bringing the GZ typically means a huge loss- because you can be bullied out of relevance before accomplishing much.

an unexciting and very average game. I only managed to shoot down 31 of the Shokaku's fighters. I will try to improve sir. But doing my best, and I only managed to kill one cruiser with my secondaries. How can I do better?

It was pulled but people were given the option to either get a refund or keep it to provide feedback to improve the ship.

What I love is that those of us who stuck with her will be testing her like mad for 3 months so when she is re-released we will wipe the seas clean of her enemies!!!

I've been playing her a lot now in Random Battle, at first I was in co-op and since I got tired with these fast paced AIs I went to Random
Using APs

These are separated, Devastated both of them
The Fuso was AFK.

I will try to upload a pick but I had over 150k and 41 secondary battery hits in a co-op today. Starting to learn that if you play her with the mass team (again in co-op) and learn to keep the tower side to the enemy... its secondaries without AFT and the Manual skill will still shred the enemy. Actually got killed a tirpitz with 14k damage from secondary hits in that match.

Yah I'm not either till the attempts to fix her go in. For Random you have to first get super lucky that the other team's CV is AFK or really, really bad. Then you have to get lucky all over again that your HE bombs deal good damage or start fires because lord knows you won't be using the AP ones. 
Such a freaking shame.

Lucky? I get the impression 90% of carrier players are really bad. Only possible way to explain my own Graf Zeppelin results in random battles and positive WR with it. Too many players hide in Coop, though they have their reasons. As it is, as a Zeppelin player in random battles, I rarely see a challenge - and then only in battles with tier 10 - which I win as often as I lose. Speaking as a point and click auto drop specialist...

With emergency take off and two both secondary upgrades I am pretty much telling Destroyers where I am hoping they try to carrier snipe me. Just to go PAC-MAN on them. What's that on the horizon a blue ghost ship, fire up the cannons, load up the bomb racks :Smile_izmena::cap_rambo:mates time for some righteous revenge.

Interesting. My experience has been that most matches have grossly lopsided CV player skill, or that's what it seems like. One or the other seems to rule the sky and delete with impunity.

The trick is landing one of the mini circles on the super structure otherwise you won't get full pens from as many bombs.
