Saying goodbye for now...

Hey all,

 

Starting Wednesday I will be attending school at Fordham University in the heart of New York City. I will be studying psychology and, later, law for the next 4-7 years. Safe to say, between class and the big city, my schedule will be a lot more packed and presumably more demanding. And I know, my struggle won't end there, but this is definitely a major step for me.

 

WoWs has always been one of my biggest time spenders (and monetary investments) so I figure it might be best for me to just let it go. I may come back to play updated content but I don't know when that'll be; new games are slated to release soon so that'll probably occupy my free time during breaks. Its just logical to end this "commitment." Warships has been a bumpy ride with its ups and downs but I've had good times with the people I've played with over the two years. The forum shenanigans will always be great memories. I hope for this game to be in greater shape when I come back to play actively again.

 

Until then, all you members of the WG community, take care and stay salty.

Good luck and have fun in NYC.  Quite a bit to do and see, highly recommend the Intrepid and a Dim Sum place called Jing Fong on Elizabeth Street in Chinatown.  More then that couldn't really tell you, lived in this state forever and can count on my left hand how often I take the trip to NYC

How ironic, I applied to Fordham (got waitlisted), and one of my friends is starting there as well!

 

I'm not gonna lie, I'm in a similar boat ship, and although my class loads might not be as heavy (for the first few semesters) I'm far more limited for time by the nature of the college I'm at (The reason for my disappearance last week). I'm still in NYC though. I quite literally haven't loaded up the WoWs client in weeks.

 

Fordham's a good school. Pricey though, I hope you got a nice scholarship XD Good Luck at school!
