Bet a lot of Texans that spent thousands on guns and ammo wish they'd gone into hobby fishing instead   ;P

In Northwest Houston, this is absolutely CRAZY!!!!! - and It is not over.

Within 1-2 miles of tornados yesterday, constant tornado and flash flood warnings today.

Areas I go to every day under 10ft of water.   Walked to watershed that is a 20ft deep hole most of the time, now almost at its banks.

Wish I could help those on the East side of Houston, but no road is passable and no fuel/groceries available pretty much anywhere.

Sounds selfish when I say it, but must take care of family first - its all I can do at this point!

Why not both?  One to catch fish; the other to keep people from stealing your fish.

Best of luck to all of those still in Houston. Worry about yourselves and your family's immediate safety first- God willing (and I'm not usually religious) the Feds will act soon. Just know we're all thinking of you, and help is on the way.

Going political on this, huh?  Sigh.  Maybe you are right...maybe the President should have jumped up and stopped that hurricane before it made landfall.  Shame on you, Mr. President.

I'm reminded of these ones.

Nah, I suspect they are happy with the guns and ammo

Problem is that the ship is sinking as well.

For now, this is basically the situation in Houston.

Just substitute Houston in place of New Orleans and you've got it down pat.
