For anybody who hasn't seen the news, @Pigeon_of_War just revealed the ship being not sold anymore is the Konig Albert!

Just spreading the news!

Interesting choice.

Do many people even have this ship?

I blame @LittleWhiteMouse after appearing on Jingles' channel recently clubbing the guts out of poor bebbies :)

She is a fun ship, but definately OP.  You can just turn your back on opposing BBs as you concentrate on other ships and the rounds just skip off.

The ship is hilariously strong for Tier III but not in the same way Imp.Nik.I was at for Tier IV.  If strictly fighting Tier III, she is insanely strong but if facing Tier IV competition, the BBs there and CVs can easily deal with her.  DDs are also very good counters for KA but the DD player needs to understand to stay away from her secondaries range.  Other than that, the DDs can have a field day against KA if they're disciplined.

Not that impressed with this ban; I was really hoping it was Belfast or Saipan.

They would only ban those once they were sure they weren't making any money off of them anymore.....:Smile_teethhappy:

As I mentioned the other thread, I'm sure we'll see her available again.

Gremy Santa Crates FTW! :cap_wander:

I guess she's strong if you don't hate every rivet and weld of the Kaiser class like I do.

I bought her... not so sure I need a low tier German BB since i already cleared the whole line... who knows, maybe one day they'll have a T3 ranked (hah) but at the 11.99, she's a bargain.

Makes sense. The other "banned" ships were low tier ships too. Plus they added protected MM. Plus IJN dd nerfs.

WG disapproves of seal clubbing very much. That first couple of hours is pretty important in player retention and seal clubbing significantly reduces the seal's chance of staying with the game.

That makes no sense. It's almost unplayed, and Saipan all by itself wrecks the CV balance across 5 tiers. But no, no WG breaks what isn't broken, and leaves what's broken, broken.

Well played, as usual, WG. Well played.

Which is why, of course, they force T9 and 10 players to play around T6-8 in order to be able to finance their ships. Mhm, thy argument holds no weight, nor water.

I know I'D looooooooove to come out of T4 thinking all is well only to hit the "I'm only here to get credits" group from T9 and 10, and therefore get myself obliterated.

WG cares not one bit about seal clubbing.

I bought one a couple months ago for 5 bucks when they had it on sale one weekend.

Really can't fathom why this ship is considered overpowered. It's a good ship, but it hardly seems beyond any of the other BBs it sees in matches. If anything, it's not the ship itself but the fact that it's a premium and folks can stick high point captains in it to steamroll at tier III without having to retrain.

They absolutely care about seal clubbing. It what the devs stated why they took manual attacks away from T4-5 CVs.

To get to T5 on a free account takes a while. Especially since you are stuck in Co op for a while. So the first games you can play randoms in suddenly a KA appears and crushes everyone. Not fun.

For me it took almost 2 months of casual playing to get to T5. By the time I was really into T5 I was already invested in the game and had bought premium time. But if I was getting crushed right in my first random game straight from Co op only levels, then probably would have played less and moved on to other games.

Glad i bought this ship recently. Strong vs low tiers and new players but it can be countered by other classes (dd or cv at t4).

Had hoped it was the Belfast
