Yamamoto Collection

I feel like a noob for asking, but I don't know if I missed something or not. How do I achieve in getting collectibles for the Yamamoto collection? I finished the final task of the first chapter of the campaign and received two super containers filled with flags and XP, but no collectible items. Are the collectibles available yet, or will they be available in time for the release of the final chapter of the Yamamoto campaign?

The final task of the last mission will give you a container with your first collection item. After that, normal everyday containers can give collection items.

Could it be any container or does it have to be a specific choice in container?

I believe there is an option to pick whether or not containers will give you items or not, but any container will do I believe.

You'll be able to access the Collection after completing the Campaign to earn Yamamoto. Collection items will most arrive in daily Containers along with other in-game items.
