Time for British Battleship sub-forum

Thought I'd put this out there now, since it took WG three weeks AFTER the arrival of French Cruisers to put up a French cruisers sub-forum. 

So let's get to it guys - there's a little less that 3 weeks left until British BBs are released. Start work now and you should be just about right on the timing!

As a side note  - you could do it even earlier. As you can see there are already a bunch of posts about British BBs on the general BB forum.

Seems the smart thing to do would be to add the sub-forum before the release...

Should've added it upon the announcement of their development to store all our speculation. It has been flooding into the Gameplay forum for months.

It is there way of avoiding sh*t storms. Why put in something in the forums if it isn't even in the game yet as a whole. Doesn't make any sense.

I read it. There is little point in arguing about something we won't see for another three weeks! So much virtual ink has been spent on this issue, including mine, to make much of an impression on the end product.

As soon as the Bri BBs go official that is when the Forums should also have a dedicated Bri BB sub-forum ( & all the drivel & s*** posts about them can also be moved there too, lol).

I'm looking forward to their release, btw, tho I will only have the one Bri BB at a time to progress the one Cpt to whatever tier I eventually want to reach.

Let me put it another way. THEY NEED TO START NOW BECAUSE IT TOOK THEM THREE WEEKS AFTER THE RELEASE OF FRENCH CRUSIERS TO PUT UP A SUB-FORUM FOR THEM. If they start now, we might actually see a sub-forum show up at the same time the Brit BBs get released.

New ship lines wait around a month or so after release before they get a subforum.  This has been this way since the first, post-WoWS going live lines came out, RU DDs and German Cruisers.

Seems to me this is hit and miss. I know other ship types have had their sub-forums come out on the day of release.

It seems really dumb to not have a sub-forum for a topic when it is super hot (like during release) - because having responses scattered over 35 different areas in the forums is SO easy to track and get useful information from - both from a player AND developer perspective.

So yeah, let's wait until weeks after anyone cares about the subject before we put up a sub forum for it. Brilliant!

I have said this before.  When will you people learn?????  There will never  be any subs in this game, and, thus, no need for any kind of "sub forum."   I mean ... oh ... wait ... you were asking for a "sub-forum," not a "sub forum."  My bad ... again ...

I have played around 19 games in HMS Iron Duke and King George V, and this line is broken. Let me be clear, HE BB line as powerful as this is going to break the entire game. I know the Devs had an idea of making the HMS BB line HE slingers since the start of the game (HE stats on Warspite have always been high), but the game has changed a lot since then.

There is very little you can do as a BB to counter it, if you find yourself in the very unfortunate position of having to push into a Conqueror or Lion there is very little you can do. Planes do counter them reasonably well, however AA of tier 9 and 10 is pretty okay. Fire slinging CAs like the Zao might get the better of most engagements but British BBs have better concealment than the most stealthiest CL/CAs of the same tier and can disengage and activate the super-heal. Gun boat DDs likely wont be able to keep them at max range most of the time (same reason as above) unless you have someone spoting them for you. Straight up 1 vs 1 British BBs can take on any other nation BB of same tier or +1 tier and will almost always win.

I need more games to get a firmer grasp of how bad things are , but what I have seen is extremely alarming. I don't know what WG should do about this or how to fix it. But if the only option was to nerf them into uselessness to save the game I would take it.
