british BBs not coming till September

i think British BBs are not coming in the next 2 weeks. Soooo sad! How do i know?

reason 1: 0.6.9. PTS is not even here, and usually it lasts for at least 2 weeks.

reason 2: the british mission has 3 phases. The last phase ends on 8/31, and the RN BBs are not released until these missions are done.

Given that the embargo lifted at some point today, I wouldn't be surprised to see them with a fair bit of August to spare.

Wait for Gamescom, it'll probably have rough answers to your timeline issues. WG likes to make a bit of a splash there.

We already had the 6.9 Public Test.

They dont always put the new ships in the PTS. As others have already pointed out it will likely coincide with Gamescom.

We will. At 8/31. So September for those who cannot play direct after the patch. Lucky, is at a day off for me. I was wondering anyway since the usuall patchday for NA is Wednesday.

True, but they did say they are awarding the Tier 3, 4 and 5 UK BB's for the UK BB missions upon the release of 0.7.0.

Don't expect them any earlier than Gamescom, if not later.  They've done it before with the most hotly demanded lines (KM cruisers and KM BBs), and they will do it again.  If you absolutely must play them ASAP, go buy a ticket to Gamescom (and whatever other travel expenses) and visit the WG booth; they'll set you up with a guest account and the ability to play the RN BBs for a limited time.  You also may get WG-branded swag for stopping by.

 

Personally though; that money is better saved for things that will help you play the line faster or more enjoyably once they arrive around August 31st or so; whether it's FXP to always buy the B or C hulls, or Credits to buy the ships, or Signals to help speed up XP/CXP gains, etc.

nope  not gonna wait that long.. they said 0.6.10 which is the next patch :)

In the missions it says.....When Update 0.6.10 arrives, the blueprints will be swapped out for the prizes above!

Gamescon is August 23rd.

I don't get wanting the blueprints for free ships.   Isn't everyone going to want to grind these ships anyway and really get a chance to play them?

Well I will want to play and keep all of them..  Ive been waiting 5 years for the damn things..  but to me all the BP does is reduce the costs involved in credits by a marginal amount,  and for my son, whos higherst ship is T4 and has very few funds, the BPs are great for him..  hes now got the first and is eagerly planning for the second and third :)
