Not really... Right circumstances may apply for 200k+ games but 140k is pretty easy in a T10.

Assuming you're in position to nab that damage in first place, yes. It seems mostly BB/CA with 2-3 DDs is most ideal setup for that, since 4+ DDs usually means plenty of smoke. Getting that much damage in BB or CA takes good positioning, in my experience.

I got my first 200k game over the weekend as well. Found a good spot to citadel the group of milling cruisers and bbs that were not pushing our cap with regularity. Finished it up with a losing duel to an fdg with my Iowa. Killed 2 and spent the reload times trying to take sense to the dead admirals who said we were too far back and not doing anything. We ended up winning it though it was close as the other flank melted.

hit 200k with the black, 206k then beat that with my montana. it felt good to hit the 200k club. now working on hitting the 300k club. Congrats man on hitting 200k.

Congrats OP.  The feeling you have with the first 200k is no different than the 20th.  They all feel good.  :D

Congrats man! 200K is a tough milestone to break. And the big damage games often come in defeats.... really annoying, that.

LOL.... maybe for you, you're one of the best players on the server.

 

The interesting thing to me is not getting to 140K, but the people who average that. I've picked up Montana. My average is 104K right now and on the whole rising over time, but there are people out there averaging 140-150K in Monty. It is incredible to me that such high averages are possible -- I am often in collapses in which there are no red ships for me to shoot, or Green rolls over so quickly the game is over, before I've reached 100K.
