On Course to Grozovoi!!!

How is your Grozovoy mission going? 

Yesterday I have finish it. After WG lounged the mission I started from t3 and finished the mission in my Minsk. 

 

I really like this kind of missions & rewards, this is why I moved to NA from EU. NA treat their customers way better then EU. 

From those 16 containers I got one port slot, x8 place in reserve, flags, t5-6 camos, credits, free xp & x50 Ocean soul camos from the supercontainer. 

 

I think this mission worth for over 3k doubloons!

Thanks again to WG-NA for the mission & looking forward to the halloween 2017 mission cause my birthday is 31 October lol.

24k more to go, been pacing myself while playing other ships for other missions and all. Easier when I manage to steadily earn 1k base in Minsk and not just get rekt.

I already had the Groz but have finished the mission. Much nicer grind than the French cruisers last month!

Took advantage of the 50% Commander boost (with camo & flags) and made over 800,000 in commander XP. Ready for putting commanders in the new ship lines coming out shortly.

Was hoping to do the Russian DD missions, considering it's the only line I've got a T10 in and can always use the captain XP too.

 

My wife and this hardwood floor I'm sanding have different ideas.

lol UK mission also done :), so now I go polish my basswood to do some pyrography art!

Took me a long while but finished yesterday. It was long and after a while oppressing as I felt I had to play nothing but to finish it.

Rewards were not that great inside the containers. Sure, nice to have a lot of containers, but the SC was underwhelming (Defensive AA special upgrade module).

I ignored the French mission as undoable.

The German mission was easy as it is raw damage.

SC always randomised + luck :( 

But you can use the special AA defensive on your high tiers right! its worth.

Honestly, I hate this sort of mission.  I just can't play the same ship time after time after time after time after time after time ad infinitum.  I'd end up quitting the game from shear boredom.  I vastly prefer missions that can be played by a wide variety of ships, nations, and types.  The wider the better.

 

Actually, I should say that I'm about 2/3'ds of the way thru the "On Course to the Groz" mission, but there's no chance that I'll complete the Equip Your Ship mission. 15k base XP in USSR DD's is manageable for me.  75k base XP?  Not so much.  

In addition to all this, it becomes all the harder when there are other missions occurring at the same time that have requirements that prevent you from playing the Russian DD's.

About half-way on second stage. Think I'll get done, but RU DDs aren't normally my cup of tea...

Finished it but dissatisfied for the following reasons.

I did get bored with it and frustrated as well, because of the nature of this type of mission it's time gated so I tend to press to much attempting to garner as much XP as possible per game and end up playing less than optimal. Losses are brutal as some games you may only earn 400-600 base xp and that just adds to the frustration. I had already researched the Groz so I mainly played the Kiev and Tashkent. The Kiev was bottom tier at least 60% of the time and even when I won I was usually bottom half of the xp board as I didn't get capping xp as often as other dd's.

Lastly, my SC was 25 dragon flags. Don't get me wrong, I love dragon flags but for a campaign that long it was anticlimactic.

Honestly, when I started the USSR mission I was confused about other missions when they were popping up!. 

But when I have done the 2nd task of USSR I have done the first task of UK mission. When I play couple of battle with my BB for daily bonus I have done the 2nd task of UK (10 citadel)

When I close to the USSR mission I have done 50% of UK 3rd mission. So its easy and you can do 2 or more missions simultaneously right?!

 

I am wondering why you hate this sort of mission, there is SC waiting for you 100%

If I want one, is Speed Boost. have one Hydro (useful in KM DDs). DFA is ok but not great.

I hate the because it's boring playing the same narrow group of ships (russian DDs in this case) battle after battle after battle. I prefer variety.
