Enterprise bombs are op AF!

 Ok, went from 3/4 HP to insta dead from a drop of Enterprise bombs.... This is in Tirpitz... Those bombs are OP AF and need to be nerfed. Either that or buff Tirpitz to her correct armor. Lets see it took a 12,000 lb (5,400 kg) bomb to sink Tirpitz IRL and that had to be dropped from 10,000 feet to reach terminal velocity.... No way a little navy plane is carrying a bomb that big.

 

 You send a squad of Lancaster bombers over me? Sure, then I accept it. But this is just a blatant OP mechanic.

The Enterprise AP bombs are SPECIALIZED "af", not op. The are great against some ships (like the Tirpitz), poor against a handful, and almost entirely useless against most.

lol Get over it. Those bombs are worthless against  7 of the 11 top tier BBs. What of the other 4 you ask? German BBs. German BBs cant be hit in the citadel so they need balance. Enter the Big E AP bombs. I say again. Get. Over. It.

 

Edit: Those bombs are worthless against 8 of 12 top tier BBs. I forgot Alabama. That makes those bombs worthless against 3/4 of the top tier BBs. I would say that is pretty under powered really.

I get multi citadeled in my Cruiser from Battleship AP and it deletes 90% of my HP, pls nerf BB AP

German BBs - so tough they allow their commanders to push way further than they should, because they can. Causing the rest of the team to hold their torps/fire whilst they're engaged.

 

Now there's a counter that reigns them back in and lets the rest of the team fight too. Only wish all US CV's had this ability and there were more CVs.

Yeah, actually they can be hit in the citadel. Is it easy, no, but than again, not easy as it was to hit the USN BB's now that they got theirs lowered. The reason for that aggression is that German BB's are weaker at range and if a round arcs down through the deck, they eat a citadel, I've seen it. That, and as well as from the stern/rear. Not to mention that especially with manual drop and the fact it's a line down the ship for AP, it's way more accurate than a BB salvo and not as easy to dodge. And even I agree that BB salvo's are a bit much at times. Thankfully, I've only encountered one E while in any BB, let alone a German.

Still, BBs launch full salvos every 30 seconds or so. Big E planes have to return all the way to the ship, land, reload, take off then return to the target and wait for an opportunity to strike. No sympathy for Rekkoff or any other CV whiner here.

What they need to do is nerf the autodrop reticle for AP bombs. It is way too tight.

I wouldn't say it's OP. However, I think it's stupid that the autodrop circle is only 10% smaller than the manual drop circle.

Also, Big E's DBs carry 1000 kg AP bombs so if you wanna get technical, added together they add up to the combined weight of a single tall boy bomb!

Funnily enough, Tall Boy would be terrible in WoWS, Overpen Damage every single time, even against ships like Yamato :P

wouldn't be possible anyways, lancasters were land base bombers. unless of course WG did some kind of Tirptiz related campaign, but that's highly doubtful. (poor girl didn't get any naval action during the war at all! and here only target she used her guns on was a flembsy weather station!)

 So you assumed something . And since I have played more BB's and more matches in BB's then you your statement was presumptuous . As to CV's I am bad in them because I am bad at micro-managing ; plus my age and the Rheumatoid Arthritis which has deformed and somewhat crippled my hands makes playing them a determent to my team . If you look at my Beta Testing record you will see that I tried   and learned that it was a bad idea for me to play them . Not everyone can be good at all the classes .
