Really Mission 1 task 2 for a cruiser 1.5 Mil Potential damage and live is [edited] I have tried on 7 matches  .. and have not got even close to 1.5  and live.. i got 1.2 once,,,  an task 5 40 citadel

40 citadels is easy, why are you complaining (you even play Russian cruisers). With 7622 battles your belt, you easily should have gained enough experience in knowing how to citadel ships and evasion tank.

40 cits is pretty easy. Tanking 1.5M and surviving is pretty tough but doesn't seem impossible. I just did all the easy task and complete the mission saved the 3 harder ones to work on while we wait for mission two. (remember you can always just do easy mission again for their stars)

If one of the missions is too difficult for you, pick another. Hell, you could even do the same 2-pin mission 4 times if you want to have it really easy.

Potential damage includes shells and torps that are within 500m of your ship and damage received.  Use something tanky with good rudder shift...

 

"∙Amount of potential damage (damage received and blocked - maximum damage of all shells, bombs or torpedoes that hit the player's ship or were within 500- radius from her)"

While agreeing 1.5mil PD is not impossible; I also say not everyone is Ace Venture Pet Detective, GudBote Driver.

 

I.5mil PD, sure why not? Do it and survive? Not so easy. Sound to me like a task where you'll spend more time dodging, and less time shooting.

It's easy to do in tier 10 cruisers with tier 10 BBs slinging shells at you. 

 

Well... "easy" is subjective, I suppose.

That is it exactly  to do it you have to get in in run out .. .so what if the match is lost... 1 to 1.3 is doable ... but 1.5 is epic  1.5  and a win .. no survive  ok i will do that at least im fighting not running

have a minotaur shoot at your ship and miss frequently.

EZ 1.5million.

Minotaur doesn't even need to shoot all that many shells. Just 470 will do. Minotaur can do that in in about 75s, if I did my math right.

Thanks!  Now I think I've got it.  But there needs to be an in-battle counter for this.  Otherwise impossible to know until after the battle, when it;s too late.

That would be nice, now that you mention it.  I use a damage panel from Aslains so that i can tell who the actual damage is from.  No way to know about potential right now, though.  Server might not calculate it until after the battle.

The data is there, though, in real time.  It's not like the end-of-battle wizardry and alchemy they use to calculate XP.  So they would just need to program the existing information to display on screen.  It certainly gets my vote.

Seems like My Donskoi and Roon are ALWAYS up against T10 BBs.  So far, they extremely seldom survive a battle.  Yeah.  I know.  I suck.

Murphy's Law. Once I no longer needed this achievement, a couple battles later, I accidentally achieved it again, with even more potential damage. Over 1.72M. LOL!

It's not meant to be easy, and assuming it 'has to/will/needs to' be easy is pretty shortsighted given that most of the tasks in the first mission require you to have a Tier 9 or 10 cruiser. It's endgame content for those that have already finished SoV/HS campaigns, and it's a time-locked and permanent campaign. You can either choose to get it done as quick as possible, which will still take 8-10 weeks because of time locks, or just progress through it under normal play.

 

Plus, as someone else may have mentioned, while you don't have to be a god at the game to finish any of the tasks, with the amount of battles you've played and the fact you're trying to complete tasks that are designed for ships at tiers 8-10, one would generally assume you'd have good knowledge of the game by this point, which would probably make things easier on you. Either pick another set of tasks to complete, redo ones you already could manage, or stick your butt to the grind and get better.
