Had the immense pleasure of visiting the USS New Jersey today while visiting family down in Philly

I'll be uploading the rest of the pictures after we get back to my Uncle's house tonight (I'm almost out of attachment space)

Very cool. The last ship I visited was the Anshan in Qingdao but I wasn't able to take pictures.

Turrets 1 & 2 as seen from about as far forward as guests were allowed

Turrets 1 & 2 as seen from the ship's bridge (I'm still kicking myself for not taking pictures of the open conning tower within the bridge, or the CIC)

The only way to get into the middle part of the turret: there's only around 4 feet of clearance between the turret floor and the rangefinder running across 

There were only five of us in the turret (and only two of us were fully grown adults) and it was still very cramped inside
