I've been around for a couple years, dabbled in all the ship lines, and had a bit of fun without getting too grim about it.

Accident_Sorry was the 'experiment' I created for a number of reasons.

1. I was getting bored with my regular account – and a bit overwhelmed by the complexity.

2. If I were to ask a friend to join WOWS, I'd be able to answer questions truthfully.

3. Given the chance to start over, would we do anything differently? HELL YEAH !!!

4. Decent Stats (not really mine.. well.. actually.. yes they are..)

5. Relive the early, carefree days of playing.

6. And there are more little ones – my being a natural troublemaker for one.

My goal was to get a Hosho.. That was it. I gifted the account an Ishizuchi to use as a cross-trainer.

In the training, at Level 9, I got a day of premium.

 

Let me tell you... To my other account where I buy premium by the year, it would seem a drop in the ocean. But to my little fledgling account, a day of premium was a world of difference. I worked through the Kawachi and Myogi in that day, finally reaching the Hosho and working through all its modules at the end.

 

Somewhere in the levels, I was given some doubloons – and I used them to reset the 5 point captain to CV training. I got to work on the Science campaign, collecting flags and other goodies.

 

Then there was the Dunkerque missions. Thankfully I got the 19 point captains and tier 5 ships. A few missions in, and I got the French 10 point Commander, and another day of premium.

 

The Dunkerque was a steal for a T6 BB at under $20 – so again, I gifted it from my other Paypal account. Reasons? Price, 10 point captain, Ranked, Scenarios, and other T6 missions going on.

With the Dunker and the 10 point commander, I worked my way through the Dunkirk collection for another RN 10 point commander. It's also the only ship T6 the account has for other scenarios like Killer Whale and Raptor Rescue. Also got to Ranked level 20 before losing interest.

 

Vella Gulf had me grinding the US and IJN cruiser line for tier 4 ship torpedoes. Got a flag.

Killer Whale was horrible due to the T5 Dynamo ships. After dozens of tries, managed to win one battle to get the German commander – yessssss.

Raptor Rescue – one mission --- aced it. US captain and a day of premium. Worked up to the Zuiho.

 

Would I recommend doing this? Yes. I had fun and it opened my eyes to some incorrect notions I had about newbies here on WOWS. It also allowed me to relive some feelings I had forgotten about:

Like looking lustfully at the 'premium' battle result numbers on the right columns (shaded out).

In World of Tanks at about 20K games I rerolled an account.  Put up some great stats but really missed the old account.  Felt like I was faking things too much.  Ended up shutting the reroll down and playing on my main account.

The wonderful thing is that you still have the 'reroll' account to jump into.

Say they are offering a free tank for some real easy 'give-away' mission....   But you already bought it for your old account.  Don't get angry..  Get it anyway.

Or maybe a mission was so fun (like the Scenarios) that you'd like to win again.  I still have the IJN and Russian captains to win on the 2nd account.
