So, i've played world of warships for quite some time now. But now that update 6.9 has come out I can't seem to update the game whatsoever. I've uninstalled the game AND the game center. I've tried to reinstall both the Game Center and World of Warships multiple times now, i've ran as administrater, i've put it on a drive with 763 GB of free space, i've removed the game and the center from the registry. These programs do not exist WHATSOEVER on my computer, and i've given what was requested, enough drive space and proper permissions, but it just refuses to install, period. Everytime it says "Unable to install Wargaming.net Game Center. Please Check available disk space and permissions."

Does anyone know the fix for this? Remember, I ran it as administrator, gave it the space it needed for the game center, and the game does NOT exist anywhere in the PC.

I use windows 10.

In the list of programs, game center had uninstall option. I used that to uninstall. I was then able to reinstall it.

I believe it has some hidden registry files.

You may need to use a separate program to uninstall those now broken registries.

Try GLEARY, you can find it @ CNET.COM , UNDER utilities.  It's free.

Has anyone found a solution to this? I'm running into the same issue now and I've tried all the suggested options above as well as others.

If a Registry entry or botched uninstall is preventing the game's re-install then you might try this:

First, manually remove the folder C:\Games\World_of_Warships. Now, download and run CCleaner, both the temporary file cleaner and the Registry cleaner. Finally re-install the game.

If the game still won't run because of incorrect permissions then make sure that your account actually has the ability to install files. If you have an account on a parent's, college or business computer you may not have install privileges.

Thanks for the post. I already deleted all files manually from the drive they were on. Downloaded CCleaner and it cleared a bunch of associated registry items. I then rebooted and still have the same issue. I have a couple of terabytes of free space and no issues with permission rights. I also tried re-installing the app on a different drive. All attempts ended with the same message below. I tried installing another game on the same drive and it worked without issue. This is almost certainly a wargaming issue as the message below doesn't make any sense!

Right-click on the installation file and select "Run as Administrator." Does this work? Also, on my computer the WG program defaulted to installing on the C: drive. Does your C: drive have at least 30 GB of free space (that's the size of my WOWS install)?

Rebooted and tried to run the file as admin again and that fixed it! Summary of the steps for anyone else that runs into this issue below:

1. Manually delete all Wargaming and/or WoW files through Add/Remove programs.

2. Get CCleaner (available on CNET) and purge all associated registries (just scan registry and the program should find all the issues on the its own).

3. Reboot you machine.

4. Download the file from wargaming and run the install file as admin.

Hope this helps others!
