Since this last update i've had bad lag spikes, and FPS drops down under 10fps. I'm running a 4g GTX960M, and have checked for the latest updates. You don't need an AMD card either. An 750TI that you can probably get for $50-$60 will run this game at 60fps at maximum settings in HD. And with this game, it's not your max fps that you have to worry about, it's the min fps when the game starts loading up activity. Have an AMD Ryzen 7 1700 at 3.00 GHz and the video card is GeForce GTX 1080. OS is Windows 10 64Bit. Nivida tech support could not find the problem, windows tech support could not find the problem. Bought a new 4gb video card and problem was solved. not sure if windows update fried something in old card but every thing else on my computer ran fine just this game and war thunder were affected. Anyways I needed to update from my 2gb video card to the 4gb. Just would have rather not been forced into new card just to play the game. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It doesn't happen every match and there doesn't seem to be a reason as to why or how often. I had one match where it occurred every 30 seconds. I have other matches where it might occur once or not at all. It doesn't seem to matter the map or what is going on. Then about the 3rd or 4th game it locks my PC hard so I have to do a hard reboot. Getting to be real damn old. I am hoping the patcvh today fixes this issue. I get pings of 30 and 40 and perfectly stable playing WoT so it is not on my end. Additional trial. As of today it locks up on the second game. First game had extreme lag and night sky for about 15 seconds at start of game. Second game got to opening screen waiting for countdown at ship in water, locked up at 2 seconds to go. Funny thing, during the night time lag, the fps was still showing 65 fps and ping of 35ms even though lag button was lit. Go figure. If not, and if you've not already, check out the WGCheck tool from the Wiki here - https://na.wargaming.net/support/kb/articles/770 Some patches ago I was experiencing horrid FPS drops and started down the Support Ticket route. The Helper pointed me towards that .exe in order for him to sort out my issue, if it was truly a Warships one that is. During the process, the .exe found several corrupted files and restored them immediately. I launched the game and there she was, all the glorious FPS' back in action! Unfortunately, my buddy had the same issue and the .exe didn't help him. Turns out it was a hardware problem that was sorted once he upgraded is comp. After that I just gave up; here today, playing some PvE, I got kicked to log-in no less than four times. I've played since last May, and skipped some of this Spring due to the early 6.# patches; yet I have never - ever - experienced so much stuttering, FPS drops, kicks to log-in, game crashes, and etc as the past weeks. Trying to turn a ship is becoming a real crapshoot as well, wondering if the rudder input is actually going to work or not, all through every game of late; it isn't any fun running aground or sailing on while under fire. However, if you're going to go down the Support route, you'd have to use that tool anyway for the WG Nerds to see if the problem is on the games end Hope you get it sorted out!
