Why did I lose my point read captain from operation Dynamo?

Like a lot of you, I received a ten point captain for getting four stars on Operation Dynamo. However, he was automatically dismissed when this new update went live. Did this happen to anybody else and do you now why WG did this? (I am not referring to the 19 point captains of the Anthony and Cyclone.)

As of this morning 0530AM EST on my account I still had - Jack Dunkirk.

He's likely still there in your reserves or assigned to a ship. I tried to screenshot what you should see if you didnt assign him to a ship yet but for some reason the screenshot in port shows up as all black. What you would do is select a british ship, click assign commander or if one is already assigned, look on the reserve tab. Jack Dunkirk should show up there unless he is already on another ship.

It is a good captain with special abilities for the RN CLs. Use it wisely.

I believe he was French.

If that's the case its a French 10 pt captain you get from the Operation.

I just checked and I still have mine. I guess yours retreated OP.

I still had mine also as 0530. Sorry about thinking it was Jack.

Thanks for your responses! For some reason the update took my 10 point French captain out of my assigned my ship and put in my reserve.
