Premium ship camo

Currently premium ship camo gives:

-3% to detectability range by sea.

+4% to the maximum dispersion of shells fired by the enemy attacking your ship.

+50% to XP earned in the battle.

 

Could we please get the last one changed to:  +50% to FREE XP earned in the battle.

• Ashan already has +100% free XP on top of its other bonuses
• So does Tirpitz's alternate camo that you could earn a while back
• Only premiums tier 6 ~ 8 have the +50% XP bonus, tier 2 ~ 5 have +30%, not sure what T9 has since I don't have Missouri or Black

Free XP on a premium ship is the way to go - more versatile for players

yeah but negligible as only premiums and the addition of 50% FXP at tiers 6-8 would not put too much a strain on their economics - players would still be converting XP for new grind lines and specials that would come out

But extra XP is already giving you more free XP.  Free XP is a percentage of the total XP you get from that battle (5% base but can be raised by modifiers substantially).  If you get more XP, you get more FXP, even if it's still only at 5%. If you switch to FXP as a bonus, you'll get overall more FXP, but only somewhat.  I agree that on a premium ship XP doesn't really matter much, but remember, it also trains your captain, whereas free XP does not.  If my premiums became less efficient captains trainers in trade for a 2.5% boost to FXP, i wouldn't think that was a good trade.

XP stacks with free XP modifiers such as flags and while you can run flags with free XP camo in the end on first win bonus you earn more free XP by stacking bonuses to the base XP then multiplying the free XP than you do by just purely boosting free XP.  Especially on bonus weeeknds with x2 or x3 first win bonus.

 

Try it sometime, even that new years +200% free xp camo with all the flags, versus the nice base +100% XP camo with all the flags.  

 

Additionally XP is added to Commander XP, whereas extra free XP is not.

I have to admit I failed to look at other tier premiums, just the Scharnhorst which I just purchased.  My mistake, the question still remains though.

The fact still remains though that you can get MORE free XP from a camo that boosts your XP earnings by 50% than you can from a  camo that boosts your Free XP earnings by 50%.  Not to mention that the XP boost also adds to the Commander XP and creates more elite XP that can be converted.

 

All around in terms of utility in each category the regular XP boost is more useful.

Having them earn regular XP is just a cash grab for Wargaimg.  Its painful and annoying but that's business for you. Its how they keep servers running and employees happy.

Yes, of course I would love for them to gain free XP.

I believe the HSF Harekaze has a camo with a free xp bonus as well...
