30% Premium Store Discount

So, I come back to port after a match and find out that I had recieved a 30% discount coupon for the premium store.

Now my question is, what would be worth it?

 

I have been looking at three ships for a long time, and those are the Belfast, Alabama, and Warspite. 

I am hesitant about the Alabama just due to how similar it is to the NC (last I checked anyway). 

However, it still seems like a solid purchase with close to 15 dollars off (I think I did my math close to right). 

 

Belfast I have had my eyes on for a while, and same with warspite. Both seem like good (dare I say OP in the Belfast's case?) ships. And again, with a 30% discount, hard to argue with the lower prices.

 

 

Anyway, the point is, what would you buy with a 30% ship discount. 

I like American DD play as well, Cruiser play is alright imo (I think I still have more games in that class than any other), and battleships are what I have been grinding out recently. 

But, just give me your inputs :D

Tier 6 matchmaking sucks so the Warspite is out.  Belfast is as close as pay to win as premium ships get, but it't tier 7 which means suboptimal premium ship benefits.  Get the Alabama.  Tier 8 premium is a great credit grinder and fun to boot.

Warspite a close second, though. She gas ferocious guns, powerful and accurate, consistent. 

I got the 30% coupon, too, as I suspect many/all did. Thank you WG, I'll spend it on premium time of perhaps the upcoming IJN T8 premium BB, Kii. a juiced Amagi sounds interesting . . .

The Premium Store sells things like pictures, mugs, shirts, etc. You should double check what you got the discount for, there is a difference between the Store and Shop.

For me, I've been holding off on buying the Harakaze. 

If I get a 30% discount, I might go for the ultimate bundle for $50.  I'm running a little low on Doubs, and this gives $27.50 worth.  30 days premium is $12.50

So that basically gives me the ship and all the modules for $10.

I already have the Alabama, Leningrad, and Belfast.  They are nice too.

But I haven't received a discount....

How do you "use" the coupon? Is there s code to use when you order?

(I have a 10% coupon from a notice but no info on how actually use it)

Check the coupon, mine expires in 6 days. Might not be able to wait for Kii.

I would choose the Belfast only because it is the one ship out of those you listed that is most unique. Alabama is very similar to North Carolina, and the RN BBs are coming soon which I'd imagine won't be far off from Warspite.

I'd go Belfast.  People talk about how p2w it is, but Kaga is wiping the floor with it statistically.  I don't want to hear anymore about P2W Belfast being broken, until people start complaining about Kaga being the same.

Tough call, 

i am not a cruiser player, no masochism in my soul, but if you are playing ranked I'd say it would be a great choice, they certainly would help 

 

I have the Warspite and it is a very fun ship especially since they changed the guns rotation speed. As stated by others the drawback is whoever controls matchmaker at Wargaming central absolutely hates T6 players. You are going to be the low tier in every match and a slow Warspite is just food for a High tier ships 

 

I would go for the Alabama and trick it out for AA, it is as close to immunity as you will ever get and will absolutely ruin a lower tier CVs day. Plus at closer range the guns kick like a mile and the earning potential for credits and XP seems to be rock solid

Warspite if you want to train up a RN BB captain before that line is fully released.

 

It's a great ship and was unique for being the only RN BB for so long.

Since you play both classes equally that's a tough choice.... Warspite is a great Tier 6 BB, Belfast is a superb CL, and I have no idea on the Bama as that price is a bit to much for my liking (CAD) but if I had none of the above and assuming you are USD, I'd probably get a discount on the most expensive one, 30 something dollars for a Tier 8 isn't a bad idea, then again you can't go wrong with any of them anyway so....

I would go Belfast because OP ship is P2W, Warspite or Sims, the last 2 only because of ranked.

25,000 doubloons for 66 dollars means you can get the tirpitz (normally a 55 usd ship) then get the scharnhorst while ITS on sale for doubloons (6650 doubloons right now, and it's normally a 42 USD ship) and you would still have 5850 doubloons left over (which is enough for any other t6 premium) (t6 are usually about 30 bucks) furthermore if you buy the doubloons you can get the scharnhorst while it's on sale, for this weekend, and than WAIT till the us weekend next week to see if t7 us premiums get a discount (it's VERY likely) and you can get saipon, indianpolis, or sim for cheap and if you wait til IJN weekend the atago MIGHT be discounted and you could get IT for cheap.

OP DEFINITELY get 25k doubloons, for 66 bucks, with that you can get the belfast (8200 doubloons) warspite(6500 doubloon) and even a scharn for good luck (normally 9500, currently 6650 for the weekend) this would leave you with 3650 doubloons after buying those three premium ships, which can be used to buy any t5 premium in the game shop (barring the texas)

double check to make sure it's actually a ship discount, the one i received applied to ANY purchases in the premium shop.

 

cause as i said above, if you get 25k doubloon you can buy ALL the ships you want, minus the alabama

 

not to mention the sims will LIKELY have it's doubloon price discounted AUG 18th

I got the 10% discount coupon....Not the 30% one....Was very tempted to use it..... I want the Arizona, but decided to wait and hope for the Ultimate package instead of just the ship and a port.
