I believe back in January, there was an interview that stated that later this year we would be getting the Italian battleship, Roma. Many of us are super excited to see this battleship in the game. Can you give us a window as to when she will be released, or is she still being worked on?

1) What timetable do you anticipate for the implementation of clan wars? Understandably it's a complex system to code, but the game currently lacks any structured team PVP element. The inclusion of operations was great for PvE, but most of us play this game to blow up other players' ships. :)

 

2) Most people ask 'when is the carrier rework coming', but I'm instead going to ask what the dev team thinks should happen with carriers. What balance changes are you looking to make?

 

3) Japanese destroyers are far less prominent in matches after the rework (also known as the IJN DD nerf). Do you believe that they are well-balanced, or will there be any adjustment to give them back some of their torpedo advantages?

What is the plan going forward for Mac support? 

 

Are you planning to rush out the Pan Asian DDs? It seems like 7.0 is pretty close, yet there's a lot of things still unknown about them. It would be nice to know that they have a useful bit of unique-ness that doesn't shoehorn them into a meta role.

Can you give us any hints on what the CV rework is supposed to be? I know that you guys will be focusing on the USN CV's a lot. But what do you plan for the USN CV's to be as part of the rework?

Are there any plans to give the tier 8 cruisers a heal? As it stands the tech tree cruisers are a fair amount weaker than their premium counterparts due to smoke or a heal. Currently there is a massive cruiser power jump from 8 to 9 as they get a heal AND a new module. If you're an uptiered tier 8 crusier its painful to say the least. I feel if you move the heal down a tier it will help mitigate the massive power jump between 8 and 9 as well as help the tier 8 tech tree cruisers when they get downtiered.

When in a clan, how will this be shown on your ship, Will there be clan logos? Will it show on a flag for example?

will wg ever going to fix the problem with HE and fire making light cruiser more powerful then heavy cruiser that have 203mm guns? and making armor completely useless?

Can you make it so we can zoom in while free looking? That way my guns stay pointed where I want them while scoping the field and I don't have to push CTRL X and then forget to hit X again before I fire and shoot gods knows where.

The cyclone game mechanic forces players to change game play but it does not affect all ships equally.  Cruisers are by far most penalized by a cyclone because it requires lightly armored ships to get too close to battleships in order to engage.  Stumbling upon a BB at 6 or 7 km is just about a death sentence to most cruisers as they can do little except shoot and pray and perhaps launch torpedoes.  US cruisers don't even have the torpedo option.  

 

I am not suggesting eliminating the cyclone mechanic (after all, bad weather was a reality), but can you reduce the percentage of cyclone-influenced matches?

"It should shed light on a way to improve everyone's gameplay experience without changing core mechanics" But what if the Core mechanics are the problem ? Smoke everywhere slowing down gameplay is a problem. Allowing ships inside smoke to see and shoot enemies is a problem. Adding Radar and Hydro search was suppose to be a solution, except they go through Islands, which is a problem. Does Wargaming have a plan for solving the smoke, radar, hydro problems in the game ?

I have a couple questions:

  • Are British aircraft carriers and destroyers planned for the future?
  • Are any more ships from the British Commonwealth planned for the future (HMAS Canberra, HMAS Vampire, etc.)?
  • Are any frigates/destroyer escorts planned for the future?
  • Are we going to see a split in the US cruiser line anytime soon?
  • Can a feature be added so that you can still complete a certain collection (i.e. Hunt for Bismark and Dunkirk) even when the campaign is over or a new one is added?
  • Since this thread is on the North American forums, will the flag used by the Japanese Navy be added to replace the national flag currently in the game? That flag is still in use to this day by the Maritime Self-Defense Force and isn't seen as a "negative connotation" in the U.S. or Canada (as far as I'm aware).
  • Are you going to update the commander voices for the Arpeggio commanders?
  • Could operations be available for ships other than tiers 5 and 6?
  • Will submarines be added in the future if certain changes to the game itself are made so they can operate? (No jokes please, I hate it when WG basically teases us about the lack of submarines in the game and gives us crude jokes like submarines manned by snowmen that are wearing pixelated sunglasses)

Is there any way to turn down the sound of the ship exploding without turning down all sound.  It seems much louder since the last patch. Typically there are people sleeping when I play the game and it too loud.  If I turn down the SFX volume I get no notifications of torps etc..

Has it been considered to use camouflages to represent different ships within a class? i.e. New Mexico class, unique/premium camo representing the USS Mississippi and USS Idaho.  This way people could, strictly speak have their 'favorite' ships and WG would not do what is impossible and add literally every ship of a class into the game? Would be a good way to get in other unique ships, such as the Wisconsin and Illinois for example without actually adding them into the game, and just having their paintjobs reflected on the USS Iowa.

Can we get word to the devs that we need consistency in the interface?

 

1. we have filters to hide anime for those of us who do not want it. Now we are stuck with a bunch of unwanted cartoon captains that cannot be filtered out, and do not respect the filters in place, and we must scroll through a lot of them to get to the ones we want to select in the Reserve

2. Can we get the very old bug in port where  coming out of battle it jumps to whatever ship it wants, instead of staying in the selected ship?

3. Can we please add empty captain reserve slots to the inventory so we can sell them for credits? We keep receiving sets of 4 weekly or so in containers. Once you have a few of those they are worthless. (I have over 100 empty slots). Useless. If we could sell them at a reasonable price, even if it is as low as 10,000 credits each, it would have some value out of the container. Even the duplicate toys for collections pay 15,000 a piece.

Is USN CV and IJN CV rebalancing already in the line of production? I recall as early as June in the other QnA you guys said USN CV load out is to be expected in next patches, yet 2 months have passed and we heard nothing.

I really enjoy some non-premium ships such as Fuso. Therefore, in the future, is it possible to pay some money to transfer the non-premium ships into premium ones in order to receive the benefit of the premium ships?

 

Also, for the pan-asia dds, which are the combination of American, Russian, and British dds, how can you make the line to be consistent and different from other existing dds?

Would like to see a "Heads-Up" type display when someone wants to send a message directly to a player.

Click on a team mate and send message that displays upper center of screen for a few seconds - just long enough to get their attention.

Messages like "hard to port torps coming" or "request smoke" for example

Believe this might facilitate working as a team more

With the new patch kicking in, game just crush more on my side, also, when will the "in battle bug"(Game kick you out of the result screen after the battle ended, and tell you that this ship is still in battle)

What are your plans for scenarios? It seems like the current ones are very well done, but I was wondering if more are planned. Specifically:

 

  • Will airfields be a thing like forts?
  • Are you (as devs) happy with each ship type's role in the operations?
  • Are the scenarios all going to be T6?
    • If they expand upwards, how do you plan to make radar work?
    • If they expand downwards, how do you plan to make CVs work without manual drops?
  • Could we see an armor model/information for Killer Whale's forts?
    • Do forts have magazines?
    • Do forts have citadels?
    • How many guns are on a fort?
    • What kind of damage does fire deal to a fort?
    • What kind of AA do forts have?
      • Can the AA be knocked out or damaged?
  • Are stats going to be tracked for these? If so, when?
  • Are you happy with the achievements? It seems like some (Assistant) are very easy to get, while others (Torpedoman) seem very hard to get
