Finally made it to tier 8

I've been playing since closed beta, but only slowly working my way up the tiers.

Finally got my first tier 8 last weekend, the Benson.

From all I've read she's a good ship. I'm looking forward to learning her playstyle.

The Benson is okay...but the Fletcher is awesome :D

The Benson is a solid ship. I personally prefer to give up some range on the torpedoes in favor of the speed. Torpedoes with 60 knot speed (instead of 55), combined with low detection range and stealth launch capability, make the Benson a decent torpedo launching platform. 

 

The Fletcher at tier 9 is all the Benson is and more... having fun gaining xp and receiving a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow makes the Benson a joy. I kept mine a gave her permanent camo.
