How is your Yamamoto Isoroku Campaign/Collection going?

Hi, 

 

Just I am curious to know how is your Yamamoto Isoroku Campaign/Collection going?

I could almost reach the last task on PT but didn't had enough time. 

However I don't have that much high tiers on LS to start the campaign. 

Only I have my Bis & Aki (stock). 

 

I found that completing the task on PT was so easy & I loved the collections and those premium camos. 

But the campaign on live server is much harder (looks like)

 

Please just share your results here & specially what you got in that super container!

Is there anyone getting those collection in daily containers?

Finished a couple of the tasks yesterday but I have not seen a collectible yet.

No Idea, how did you get the collectibles on the test server?

The collection doesn't start until you complete the campaign to get the Yamamoto commander.

"You'll be able to access the Collection after completing the Campaign to earn Yamamoto. Collection items will most arrive in daily Containers along with other in-game items."

I did a bit of reading on the patch notes and campaign/collection articles yesterday. If I'm not mistaken, you need to complete the entire campaign before you'll start getting collectibles for the collection. So basically, the collection effectively won't exist for at least two months

If they're only going to be in the daily containers, it's going to take while to complete the collection. 40 collectibles and no duplicate prevention and only getting one per container (if it's like the PTS) = lots of containers.

Do we have to finish each tasks, why I ask this some tasks I can't do because some of tasks has to done with CV, I am not a CV eather CA :(

There are plenty of non class specific tasks per mission to make it possible to go through the campaign. For instance: I have no T9-10 CVs, so I would have to go through mission two without carriers.

I haven't even finished the Science of victory campaign & Honorable service :( I go finish the first campaign then may be end of this year I can start the Yamamoto campaign. 

If WG put a time limit (may be in future patch) I will be unlucky. 
Finish all 5 final tasks and share with us what you got pls.

I finished Science of Victory with honors pretty fast, and Honorable Service too but not with honors cause I can't CV at high tiers.  I like having small bit sized goals connected to a larger goal that the campaigns provide and that really motivates me to complete it.

Finished the first mission but still 3 tasks to do. I switched to the RN missions and will try to finish the other tasks after them.

You only need to do enough tasks to accumulate eight stars. After you have eight stars, the final task is unlocked. Also, you don't necessarily have to do four different tasks to get the stars, you can repeat one task multiple times and you'll still get the star for completing it every time.

*We’ll add a Reserve space for Yamamoto only if you don’t have one at the time he’s credited. If you have spare Reserve spaces, you won't get the free space. 

 

Would it makes sense to recruit enough Commanders to fill up all of your slots so you don't lose one when you get  Yamamoto?
