And in another game, a Graf Spee full of high school kids (i.e., HSF Spee). I am now totally distraught today. At the end of the first game, I checked my detailed stats...only to discover to my horror...I killed Little Bunny Foo Foo. I will lose sleep for days. On the other hand, LWM will probably sleep a bit easier. The other game...I fired an out of range, but closing, torp spread (from my manly Spee) at one of those Spees full of high school kids. This was one of those shots you just throw out and then move on to another target. I don't recall the torp range time out on the Spee torps, but it had to be close....and all of a sudden those ribbons popped up...kill...devastating strike (detonation). Oh my. Really WG. But then I am an unrepentant seal clubber (well not so much any more ;unless you count tier 4 and 5 ; but I do keep at least 1 of every tier in my port) .
