This all leads to something I had in mind for a while; The 1,000 Game Challange. Its simple, Play 1,000 games in 30 days. I know what you must be thinking...impossible....but I assure you it is possible without sacrificing the qualities of your match. This isn't a challenge implying to grind out matches by the numbers. This is a challenge that tests your endurance and your ability to keep focus and consistently meet your average damage or exceed it. Keep in mind that this is a challenge and that you do not have to have a 1,000 games played by the 30th day. I am going to attempt to rise up to the challenge and I am hoping you will join me. This challenge is not for everybody. A lot of you have real life commitments, some of you guys play other games but to those who are willing to attemp it...I challenge you. The challenge starts August 14 server restart time (3:00AM PST/6AM EST). There is no tier restrictions or ship restrictions. You can play in co-op or randoms. You get out of this challenge what you put in; Do you have a winrate goal? Do you wanna increase your avg damage? Do you wanna start stocking up Free XP? At the end of the challenge my goals are: Increase winrate Finish Khab/Grozovoi line Get 2 more 19pt captains (have only one now) Get started on US DD line Can't join the challenge but know someone who would be interested? Link them this post! Use this post to keep yourself accountable, ask questions, brag and post accomplishments etc etc. P.S. I can average 5 games/hour when I don't die early (which isn't often). So I need to play about 6-7 hours a day to meet the goal. No reward either - you're on your own. Simple math of 16 minutes*33 = 528 minutes or 8.8 hours for a day of play. (Fair estimate of match time - providing you don't rush and actually play the game like a normal person would) 8.8*30=264 hours in a month or 11 days of nonstop playing. NONE of that will be achieved while burning yourself out mentally doing something like this. Kids these days just don't listen, they really don't. At least you will be improving and not just number crunching. Churning games for the hell of it just leads to burn out. Having said that my goal this month is to play 100 games in each of my T10's which will require 210 ish games. But only if i enjoy them. Leaving Moskva to last as she and I don't see eye to eye yet. Good thing its a voluntary challenge and would be interesting to know of how many that may attempt it actually do burn out and disappear. Good luck and so long to those that do make the attempt. Don't blame ya bud, its an extremely hard ship to play....especially when the reds focus every match becuz apparently you are the invincible ship that can one shot everything with its AP.
