How to get containers for the Yamamoto Collection?

The collection post mentions something about collecting your first item after finishing the Yamamoto Campaign. It also mentioned boxes being available in the store.  Is this time gated for two months and the only way to get containers before that is to buy them from the store?

Reading is OP!  Seems pretty clear that you can't start the collection until after finishing the campaign.

You'll be able to access the Collection after completing the Campaign to earn Yamamoto. Collection items will most arrive in daily Containers along with other in-game items.

I missed the part about them coming in the regular containers, but it still says

 

Obtain the first item after finishing the Yamamoto Isoroku campaign, or by purchasing special Containers in the Premium Shop..

and

The Collection bonuses are available even if you don't have Commander Yamamoto Isokoru on your account.

 

That seems to imply there's a way to get a container with an item from the premium shop to start getting the items before the missions fully unlock in 2 months.  Otherwise I'm not sure what the point in releasing the collection now is since there's no way to complete the Yamamoto campaign currently.

You might have to give it a few days before WG remembers to put them up in the shop.
