A person.. From world of tanks

Hello everyone! I am a user from world of tanks. I left that game because my PC was unable to run it for a random reason (it ran nicely before 8.1 update). I really miss that game, so i decided to join any other game like World of warplanes or world of warships, So i chose World of warships. I'm new here, I think we can't download the game yet. So all the players who know pretty much about this game. Help me out!

I'm sorry to hear your computer won't run World of Tanks anymore, did you turn the graphics to Low/Standard?

He said it ran fine before 8.1, so unless it has to do with the new video engine, he should be fine.

Exponan's answer is the nicest one we could get to any newcomer about where to find all the information that you need, after countless "can I haz alfa" and "where do I download the game" posts.  Your questions were legitimate though, so hopefully, the FAQ will answer all your questions.  If not, feel free to ask again in this thread.

better chance with WOWS than WOWP..that game will beat a PC to death

I have a PC that beats WoWP to death (54 - 127 FPS) 70-80 on average :)

yea..when I first started testing it was on my Toshiba 655...it killed it,my stats were so bad it wasnt funny if I hit a plane I was happy,let alone kill one.
now I have a new one and It shows with a kill ratio of 2.2 per game.
Untill it becomes optimized its not any fun on anything less than a custom gaming pc.

I tried the game again this week to see if maybe the last patches would make the game more bearable for me.  I was still in awe how good the game looks, but still had the same playing issues I had since alpha.  They don't have anything to do with the game itself, which is fine.

 

I guess that I've reached my expiration date for this fast-paced kind of games.

I'm wondering if you tried looking through the mods forums at WoT for a mod to restore 8.0 graphics?

If its the graphics update that's killing your PC.  If it's the new physics....  That may be an issue requiring some hardware management.
