Listed below is comparing costs from the quantity of Doubloons you may have purchased (at certain purchasing levels) and the exchange rate it will cost converting the Ship XP towards Free XP. My Scharnhorst has 667000 last time I checked and 550000.. I'm trying to recall numbers without looking in game cause it's 2 am in the morning and I can't sleep cause I'm coughing cause of bronchitis, and this is a run-on-sentence. There's just ridiculous numbers of free xp that's never going to do anything. Kinda like coins on the ground all over the world that are never picked up. There must be a million's worth of ground change..... Hmm.. maybe If we collected all that we could use it to convert our xp? Next question, who's up to go diving in fountains and wells? So if you have over 5 million Ship XP as an example, you can convert that at a better rate. I show an example below at different tiers of Ship XP. Everything below that is still the 25:1 or 35:1. This is just an idea and an example. It still costs a lot and I just don't think anyone is going to drop 2k down in converting Ship XP and perhaps not at the above levels either. The thought still makes it more palatable than the stock 25:1 or 35:1. I don't have any Ship XP near that but i'm guessing there are quite a few that have built it up over time. I convert Exp & Credits, as I need them, via Doubloon purchases, so I have low totals (unless I'm saving for a specific ship). I only have 40 ships inc the ARP ships & the S. Dragon. I just bought the $200 ship package, partly to collect the doubloons from ships I already have to convert my XP for the MO. But that's probably the last $$ I'll spend on WOWS for quite some time. 33 Legion_of_Boom25 Members 113 posts 5,864 battles Report post #12 Posted July 16, 2017 (edited) I've seen another post where someone uses a 1/2 cent per Doubloon as an average and i have to agree with that when thinking that probably a lot a of people are purchasing at the lower end in bits and pieces to help their cause. That purchase level in the 1,250 to 5,000 Doubloon quantity would make sense for that and the half cent average would coincide with that. Based off of that, i created a lower level scale of Ship XP to Free XP conversion rates based on the 1/2 cent per Doubloon cost for the two different exchange rates.
