Far too many people ignore AP on the Ishizuchi

Yeah its terrible and you're mostly wasting it if you use it on angled BB's but don't be afraid to mix things up.

Predict what people will do, switch ammo on the fly and you'll have some good times whether you're engaging and killing DD since all your cruisers are completely ignoring it and shooting at things at max range instead, hunting down a CV, eating some broadside cruisers or just melting down some battleships.

Fun times for all no matter your hobby, unless your hobby is shooting down planes in which case no fun times for you.

It's just that Ishizuchi's AP leaves much to be desired, and there are much better choices at tier 4 if you want to nuke people with AP.

Ishizuchi is what we call an Anti-Cruiser Battleship, its AP shell's are great against Cruisers but are not the best for battleship brawling

I use AP on cruisers and HE on DD's and BB's, unless that other BB is also an Itchy, then I AP it back to the design board.

Ishizuchi's HE can citadel cruisers. So... her AP isn't great even there.

i don't have one from what i seen i was assuming that what i said was the case

I farmed 5 cits today on a broadside Omaha, Murmansk, and Phoenix.

 

It was fun.
