Enterprise-Not sure about her yet

First off I have yet to purchase the Enterprise, that's going to be later in the weekend.

 

So the Big E is out, and I am happy with some things they changed before release (notably the T9 Mode slot) it allows for competitiveness while still holding a slight handicap.

 

I've read LWM's review and it brought up some concerns of mine, her fighters look like they might have issues with clearing the skies (they're T7 some I'm not suprised), her torpedo drop worries me due to its large size, and while I'm intrigued by the AP bombs damage against BBs the fact that it can hardly damage Cruisers and DDs, let alone enemy CVs does worry me.

 

Her lack of anti-DD attacks worry me but I'm going to wait until i get her to form an concrete opinion, if you've bought the ship and have some experience with her I'd love to hear your thoughts on her.

I've only played a few battles in her but I am happy to report that the reviews in my opinion exaggerated how bad she is supposedly. I've done very well in her averaging about 100k ish in each game. The Torp drop is bad but you gotta remember she has 2 torp squadrons so you can easily stagger or cross drop for massive damage and the AP dive bombers are much better against other nations BBs then I expected. I am very happy with my purchase and do plan to continue using her. ( Sidenote I have a lot of experience with carriers since I learned a thing or two on my grind to the Midway. Despite that I do not claim to be an expert. I had a 16 point captain on enterprise as well as fully kitted out with modules.)

There is no lack of anti-DD attacks if you use the HE DB's. The AP ones are optional.

My first game in her I had 3 kills with 79K damage. Not an exceptional game but an acceptable one for the win. It was in a game with mostly T9s with a few each of T8s and 10s and my opponent was another Enterprise.

My impression is that she'll do fine as long as the captain has experience with upper tier CV play

In the few matches I've played against her in a Shokaku (a very average CV player myself, meaning I will stomp you if you're bad, but will struggle if you're anywhere decent), the feeling I'm getting is that I can (probably) confidently engage your fighters 1v1 away from AA (for some reason I keep getting the feeling I've only seen 5-unit fighter squadrons when everyone should have 6..?), but you still have the capacity to harass my bombers if I make a misplay, and I actually need to pay attention to your dive bombers to keep them away from my team's BBs. So, not that much different than another Shokaku, probably.

The price is the biggest reason I won't buy her. And I'm not a CV player. I bought the Kaga and I regret it somewhat, I've only played her once in co-op but since I suck at CV's she'll rarely leave port unless the naval operations by some miracle of chance go up one tier to include VII's then she'll get out more often. Until that day she's just eye candy, expensive eye candy but eye candy all the same.

I am a CV player and I bought the Enterprise for personal reasons. 

But if I was you, you made a good choice. All CV premium ships are not for everyone, especially those that have little experience in playing carriers.

Main issue is how few bombers you get in a tier that's frequently facing T9-10 AA. Fighters can contest for vision control, but without bombers and competent teammates, it's frustrating being unable to do more than spot. Overall, I inferred from LWM's review that Enterprise is a demanding CV.
