How about for every 4 or 6 months a year, every. single. buyable premium (that's not OP) will be available for sale. Whether it be on discount is up to whomever's in charge. Think of it like a firesale. That actually sounds great, on WGs Birthday there should be a firesale on that day for the following week. Thoughts? With this 'Murican weekend, I actually would've liked to be able to buy the Alabama. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to buy the whole thing - only add on what I have (would need about 7000 doubloons more I believe.) I know this is all marketing stuff to increase profit. But I think you're doing it wrong, if everything was available I'm positive you'd get more sales. Heck, I would've dumped some more money into the game but I cannot since nothing is ever available except a few premiums. Draw the masses to ships they haven't seen before and saying it is rate and will only happen a couple times if not once per year, cash flow. So, it is reasonable beyond a doubt. It may be a marketing technique, but I really don't get why a company would sell only some of their product at a time. I am a thinking person and am not tricked by marketing (Brain Games) manipulation. Please put the Texas stars and stripes camo for sale with the ship so I don't have to listen to people cry about it anymore. And they play them often, again for many reasons, earning credits, training captains, or just because they're fun. So they get to know the capabilities of their ships very well; probably much better than a player who is just grinding his way to either the end of a line or a specific ship. Does it surprise you, then, that this premium ship might be better played than the second one? So, one, it will certainly depend on exactly which premium we're discussing; because I will most certainly admit that there are some OP ships out there (can name a couple without thinking). and two, I think some of the reason premiums perform better is players who own them play them more often, so they know them better. While true, arguably the firesale that would happen is at an equal calibre as the event where Marblehead was sold, even though the Marblehead was supposed to be exclusive to the forum event where you earned it.
