Making the Dreadnought a premium probably wouldn't settle well with a lot of people who would see it as a shameless money grab.

To be honest with you,They picked the slightly upgraded model of the Dreadnought for a Tier 3.

A money grab is exactly what it is. No other reason she wouldn't be in the tree. And we've known she wasn't the tier 3 for a few weeks now.

Bellerophon is fine as the Tier III, though I am not sure she'll make it through with the stats she has. Seems kinda OP for Tier III.

Seems within the range to me, South Carolina's always going to be a disaster, Nassau/Konig A are always going to be OP with plenty of space in between. Armor's not great, HP is good, guns are not great and 2 RPM, speed is ok, but ok is 5% better than average.

Finally a dreadnought that's just in her original hull design (rather than the crap "upgrades" done to so many of the German BBs).

It'd be nice to have a clan mode that has WW1 ships in their stock forms and do a Jutland mission.

She'll stomp all over South Carolina and Kawachi with those numbers.

Whilst all but QE had been retired by the late 30's these are WW2 era fictional refits, except QE which actually got this refit. 1 minute ago, Helstrem said: 15.3 kilometer range and a 1.8 sigma seems pretty good to be for a Tier III BB. Both ships are serious bad bote's so i don't really see an issue other than those two poor sods needing a buff.

War Gaming has done it before. Hood, Arizona, Prinz Eugen, Alabama, etc. Personally, I wouldn't mind. Premium ships typically have some kind of historical value to them, and Dreadnought certainly falls into that category. Edited June 29, 2017 by Viper101 New info came in, thanks poeticmotion. 106 [PNGYN] Viper101 Members 493 posts 4,004 battles Report post #24 Posted June 29, 2017 (edited) Iron Duke looks mean. I don't know what it is about her, but she just looks like what a battleships should look like. Of course these are all good looking ships, don't get me wrong, but Iron Duke seems to be the standout here for me. Edited June 29, 2017 by Viper101

I mean, WG is not a non-profit organization. It's a free to play game, so calling it a money grab when they make a premium out of a famous ship is a bit ridiculous, especially when the free-to-earn tech tree variant is a better ship. I mean, there's room to criticize them for some things (the Alabama fiasco, the Prinz Eugen bundle clusterf...) but criticizing them for trying to make a profit in ways that don't turn WoWS into a pay-to-win game is stupid. We don't want pay-to-win, so capitalizing on historic ships and charging the collectors to own them is a good way to make money and keep the servers on.
