How much potential damage is a lot?

I haven't really paid much attention to the potential damage stat. How much is a lot? Several million?

I got 3,677,600 potential damage recieved before in an AZ match. Still my record to this day.

Yeah, I think in the one to two million range is pretty solid, over two million and you're tanking a lot.

 

EDIT 1: No idea what my record is; I'd have to guess around 2M in some BB.

 

EDIT 2: Possibly 2.7M in the ARP Hiei. Of course we lost.

Say, with the way you are talking I wonder if my own personal record is the actual record for all players. I doubt it, but you never know. It could be.

I think I've seen someone's screencap of a 4M game, but could be something else.

What's funny is, in my quite frankly ridiculous record breaking(presumably only for me) potential damage battle in my AZ, we also lost. Oh, and if it matters to you, I died. Yup. Couldn't help it though, 3/4s of the enemy team was all focus-firing on me, for all but one of my allies was dead. This was BEFORE IFHE, and I still got burnt to death by HE-spamming Cruisers.(plus a bit of BB AP every now and then) No DDs took a major part in my death though. I focus fired down with my rear guns any that threatened to catch up to my hastily retreating AZ.

I think you will find this thread by BURN_Miner where he asked the forum what their record Potential Damage was.

I think 2+ mill is really high. It's also very dependant on the ship you play. Ships that can't be seen will obviusly produce less potential damage. Like my Kutuzov, I hover around 200k every match (my highest 600k) while my highest is 3.something in my Moskva.

Yeah it depends a lot what you're driving, a couple of mil in a mid tier cruiser is good but not spectacular IMO.

But I consider 2~3 mil a lot for most ships, takes amazing effort to get that already

I once had 1.9 million playing the Leningrad. I survived the match - just barely. 

Friedrich der Grosse regularly is between 1.5 and 2.5 million.  I think the max was 3.2.  

Fujin/Kamikaze if it's over 30,000 I had a bad day.
