Why does Warships.today say this about me?  Yeah, I have 661 games in the Koenigsberg, but that's a midtier ship.  My next highests are 392 in the Roon, 374 in the Hindenburg, 273 in the Fletcher, 242 Hipper, 238 Belfast.  I hardly play low-tier at all.  Even under the "All" catagory, my average tier is 6.9.  So why would it say I play low tier?  Also, what happened to ship rankings?  They've been gone forever now.  "No user data"

I feel like their little summaries are stuck in the past.  Mine hasn't changed despite since I first logged onto Warships.today despite my play has changed and improved.

Yeah, pretty much this. Mine still says something about cruisers, and I never play cruisers anymore, though my net number of cruiser games is still highest.

To my understanding you aren't out of low tier until you hit 6 at the very earliest due to tiers 1-2 being easily ignored and the game 'really' starting at tier 3. 3-5 is low, 6-7 is mid and 8-10 is high.

It's decent for a top level view of a player I think. Obviously if you're playing something way different than your average it's not applicable. Also I'm not sure what some of the weighting mechanisms are but most played isn't even to get a ship mentioned. For example here's mine:

Tooting my own horn a little but that's actually pretty accurate except for the bit about the North Carolina. Frankly the Cleveland I think should be my key but I'm guessing tier and other stats play into it. 

 

I actually give them credit for putting in the effort to try to do these high level evaluations of players. Helps provide context when reviewing the rest of the page.

Scharnhorst reference is a bit unfair, given I have more battles in my Leander than my Scharn (much of which was ranked battles last season - god that's a grind...), and I havent played my Scharn much in the last few months (maybe a dozen battles)... ah well.
