Does anyone know what Rank you start out at in Season 7 if you made Rank 1 in Season 6. I can't for the life of me remember how many stars were required in the different ranks. Man ..I'm really stoked for Ranked. I have been ready to roll since early May. Second question..which Rank does the Tier VIII ships kick in? I had heard it was going to be VI. I tend to rely on Dasha...mmmm...Dasha. Anyway, looking forward to seeing you all out there. Weirdly I play so so much better in Ranked as far as success than in Random. I think it has to do with more team chat and ..for the most part, more of a chance to get a unified team strategy going. Everyone flagged up and taking it seriously. (You're mileage may vary) I get the most thrill out of playing and sometimes outplaying a Captains better than I am (which is pretty often in Ranked battles.) A lot of good players turn out for Ranked. I see a lot more good or great players than I do bad, fail to the top types with 29% WR for the season over 1000 battles in Rank play that season and having got 1 just by sheer number of games. I truly believe the way to assure a good chance of reaching the highest Rank you can is get in and play EARLY in the season. Day 1. Ride that wave of Unicum and Blues down to the Primer league. You go to slow or start to late and you get stuck up in the teens or 20's with the growing population of people on the wrong side of the Bell shaped curve. One star for each attained rank HELD at the end of season. So if you reached rank 8, but ended on 9, you get the stars for 9. Then fill in the stars needed for a rank and that's what you get.
