Some stuff from WGJ Friendship day in Nagoya

- Different RNBBs drafts are being considered, but nothing set in stone

- ASMs are at a dead end for now

- Pan Asia tree is being researched. Avoiding being a clone of other tree ships. Luda class for tier 10 if ASMs can be implemented? Otherwise may need to find an alternative

- BBVs and CAVs: We (WGJ) are telling HQ that fans want them, but no further info on them.

That's complete B$ that they're considering guided missile ships at all.  Just do clones and be content with it.

Guided Missile Ships for Pan-Asians only is blatant Chinese pandering

The day they add ASMs is the day I leave high tiers for good...

There's no way they are actually going to put ASMs in the game.

God... ASMs... Please no. If they need that much of a gimmick to make PanAsia work I don't even want it. BBVs and CAVs are something that I could see working though, yet we still have no word on Tone, who we know already exists ingame...

...ASMs...? Seriously?

Please, for the love of god, don't add those things. Keep this game strictly WWI/WWII with conventional weapons in ALL tiers. We don't need nor want freaking ASMs in this game. They'd be completely and utterly broken and OP or completely and utterly useless. There is no middle ground with them.

The ASM message is somewhat disturbing. They have worked out that they can't be shoehorned in, but if some eejit comes up with a way that appears "fun" and "engaging" they would roll with it..... Please for the love of Bob WG just stop thinking about it.

If they make it into another game series where all the ships have ASM's, then yeah that'll be doable. putting it into the current game..too broken

BBV is aviation battleship and CAV is aviation cruiser.

ASM's? That'll make it really fire and forget.

Not really? I mean, early guided weapons were either wire guided, like the Fritz X, or could only be guided to hit a specific location, like the V2

It's no more fire and forget than main battery gunfire..... gameplay wise, they seem like they'd be like using a torpedo that you had to watch the whole time.

Why is it bull? A carrier is basically a guided missile cruiser, except worse.

Missiles don't spot, and you can't retarget them after you've fired.

Guided weapons are historical for WW2.

Many of the ships in this game are not.

Don't we already have one of these? 2 entire lines of them?

People seem to really love them as well.
