Shchors, did you keep it? Is it worth keeping?

I kept it but I do the same with many ships.  I like her for being an effective 12-gun, 152mm slinging CL at the very comfortable Tier VII range.

Chapayev often finds herself in Tier X matches.

Budyonny has 9 of the same guns compared to Schors' / Chapayev's 12.

But I do acknowledge a number hate using Schors, so if you were one of those OP, then don't bother.  Just don't expect much else to change in later tiers until Moskva.  Because Chapayev and Dmitri Donskoi are the same as Schors in the fundamentals.

Did you enjoy playing it? Keep it.

Did you dislike playing it? Don't keep it.

The only exception to the above formula would be for ships you didn't like but would like to give a second chance at some point.

Shchors is not a bad ship, but it's definitely pretty min-maxed right out of the box with extremely good DPM from high-velocity guns coupled with aluminum-foil armor and a poor turning radius. As pointed out above, that's somewhat the formula for the top half of the Soviet cruiser line except for Moskva.

Totally sold mine when it was done.  But I am some kind of heretic; I am not a fan of the Budyonny, and much prefer the Kirov...

I sold it as soon as I was done with it. I enjoyed a majority of my games in it, but it's not enjoyable enough to be a permanent addition to my port. I also wanted my captain moved up to the Chapy, so would have to start another from scratch.
